after watching this video its hits you really hard that you really need to trust the guy who is going to open you up and do this to your body.

its worth watching just so you can see just how venerable you are when you get operated on.

This osteotomy makes no sense to me

First of all lateral compartment is badly damaged so you won t sort out the problem
Second you turn the axis into varus without performing lateral patellar release
Third in such cases we normally perform a lateral distal femur addition osteotomy using cadaveric bone allograft and a blade plate to stabilize.
Fourth with this osteotomy they do not correct usual procurvatum deformity which is usual in genu valgus deformity.
