I have heard from some and via Dr. Paley himself that he will stop lengthening the patient if they are showing various signs of x y or z.

I am wondering, for anyone who has consulted with Paley or from CLL veterans, what are those limits?

Paley is focused on function. He will tell you to stop lengthening when

1) The long term functionality of your legs might be affected (not being able to bend the legs all the way)

or

2) There is a complication with the bones that might cause them to break if lengthened further.

There was a patient when I was lengthening who had to stop at 7.2 cm because of a crack in his bone.
