hey guys.

does anyone know the outcome for 12345 from old forum . his last post was:

Quote
Hey guys.

I'm not in the mood to type much now, but if anyone is considering MUA, PLEASE get in touch with me first. I had mine done 18 days ago. The result? The POS broke parts of BOTH of my knee caps, and I have at least a partial rupture of nothing less than the quadriceps tendon. It's an absolute nightmare, and the doctor I saw for a second opinion basically told me to forget about going back to bending 180 degress, and that I should pray for whoever I want to ultimately get functional knees at best. It's that bad and I have no idea what to do anymore. Besides all of that, I still can't really bend more than 30 degrees, and the sensation in the right knee is absolutely terrible (not that the left one is fine, mind you). On the operation table, he got to bend the legs around 120 degrees, which I now know was too much given how I was, and it's why everything broke. This guy has destroyed my legs. I'm hoping for the best, and I will work my behind off to try to improve, but the pain and the helplessness I'm experiencing now I'd only wish on the likes of Hitler.

I'm attaching my latest X-rays. The broken parts of the knee caps are pointed at with arrows.

this was for June 25th 2012.

does anyone know how to get a hold of him. the reason is because I am curious, and I might be able to offer him advice that he doesn't know, besides I am also curious as to whether he stopped posting as a decision or whether sysop banned him without us knowing. either way it would be nice to find out what his update is.

and knowing what I know now, external monorail is suppose to result in extreme loss of range of motion which you then gain back over 6 months according to clinical studies, his MUA might not have been necessary.

MUA stands for "Manipulation Under Anesthesia", right? Who was the doctor?

that's correct for MUA. it was doctor withheld. apparently a friend of 12345 who ended up not knowing how to successfully perform cosmetic leg lengthening.

Lol.. Sorry, can't help but laugh at South Park-ish dark humor..
"Doctor withheld" could be Sarin, who knows. If he went to India, of course.
Hope he got better!

I don't think knowing the doctor is important. what is important is 12345 and how he is recovering. and weather we can help him in any way. as well as what we can learn from his situation.

Knowing the doctor is also important so others can be warned before chosing to go to the same place and risk getting their knees destroyed..

I know that, however I don't think the doctor was ever revealed.

and also that doctor does not do cosmetic LL surgery, and I doubt he will ever do it again after he butchered his friend un intentionally. so I think the probability of this re occurring is infinitesimal at best, hence the reason of why I don't think that knowing the name of the doctor, who's name we cant find out, is not so important. :)

someone on the forum was about to get their knee bend/contracture fixed under anesthesia?

who was it I couldn't find their post again. it was like 3 days ago?

listen guys if you cant do it yourself when awake. what makes you think its a good idea to have someone manually smash your leg apart under anesthesia when you cant tell them to stop breaking your leg. who in their right mind would even think this is a good idea.

hold on I forgot doctors told us its a good idea. so it must be good. anyway the point of this post is to tell that guy who ever he is to just think about it. and perhaps there is a reason his leg cant be forced to straighten while he is awake. there are other surgical techniques that can be done to fix you.

again I cant remember who the hell you are. but hopefully you see this post and think twice.

Whenever I see stories like this with major details missing it is uncomfortable. Who was the doctor? What did the doctor do to destroy his knee caps? Was this tibia or femur? The list goes on.

12345 wrote an entire diary.

that question is clearly answered by the original poster. it was forced by the doctor under anesthesia.
