Hi Tiny,
I am going to lengthen at a safe pace and keep the maximum lengthening of each bone to very safe limits (6cm each).
I don't believe that much if any athleticism is lost if you do things safely.
You are correct that I am in my 20's
After a year of lengthening and recovery I should have lot's of athletic years ahead of me
I agree that it is nice to be starting out at an average height. I do have friends that are shorter than average, and one that is much shorter, and it is sad the effect that it can have on their lives. Heightism is a very real and sad cultural issue that needs to change.
But I also have friends that are taller than me, and one friend around 6'5", and I can say with certainty that there are many benefits to being above average as well.
Being above 6 foot is a definite positive in the dating game, and management and CEO jobs are dominated by people above 6 feet:

But I am going to be as safe as I can and not push any limits. Hopefully I can come out of the other side with not much if any negative impact, but a whole lot of positive from standing a bit taller than almost everyone else
