From what I've read here from multiple forum goers, I think you can do 10-12cm split between the two segments and it should be as safe as it gets while getting all the bang for your buck. Now it gets a little sketchy and very few people have attempted this and come out unscathed, but you can go for 15-20cm which is really pushing the limit. You can only do 15-20cm without looking like a freak if your ape index is massive and you've got god tier luck.
15-20 cm is way too much I will look like a freak and probably will take on way too much risk.
10 cm would be a sweet spot. It would put me at 2 meters with shoes. That would be amazing. The only concern I have is having paper thin legs afterwards, is there some way to train lengthened legs to gain more mass and improve proportions?

No, I'm living in reality. In my area most young men in clubs are over six feet. To mog properly you have to outcompete them hard.
Since you have longer legs at 6’2” you could probably crank out 10cm in the femur. 7-8 in the tibia as the length is much less. Someone like Betz is probably best as his Betzbone can be internal whilst at the same time lengthening beyond 8.25cm. Stryde only goes up to 8.25cm but that is what shorter guys do when they max out the rod. I’d say 10 is a good range for you, 11 if you want to push it.
