Russia visa problem for solomin and kulsesh
« on: October 04, 2018, 04:47:07 PM »

Hi guys

I have been trying to find which visa type will work getting LL done in russia. As i am from india.

I have mailed solomin and kulesh both asking for what should i do for visa.

As of now only two option available to apply Tourist or Business visa, they both dont allow having medical treatment in russia.

Kulesh told me to ask consulate. But will they allow for this kind of visa probably not.

What should i do in this case

Android and overdoser can help

You dont need a medical visa. Everyone that has been there including myself has got a 3 year tourist visa which allows you to stay for up to 6 months in Russia at a time. Not sure how it would work for you since your from India. How long are you planning on staying in Russia?

If you get a 30 day tourist visa then your only option would be to get surgery at Medem clinic and they can get a visa extension for you. Visa extension is not allowed at the Municipal hospital.

If you are from India why not just go to Dr Parihar? I don't know if it is easy to get a visa from India. You usually need to have an employment letter to get a visa from India. And how will you keep your job when you need get LL?

Six month will be good enough.

I see that i can do this surgey in 30 day tourist visa
But the problem is lying in visa purpose.
What will happen when the immigration see you in frames and wheelchair.

I see that for Russia they don't ask for employment letter, so you can get a visa. I was wrong.

You can get the operation done in 30 days and get an extension. It is however a bit risky. You may have to prove that you didn't expect recovery to take this long. Worst case you have to go back to India.

During entry you can say consultation with doctor.

Anyways keep us updated with how it works out

For visa purpose you can just say tourism. Thats what i did. When i did the first section of my cross lengthening i only had a 30 day visa. At immigration i said i was there for tourism and 15 days later i came back to the states with frames on and in a wheelchair. Immigration didnt ask a thing, just checked my passport and visa.

Really??
I dont want to get banned for visiting russia ever again
Also when having this procedure and to not get in news, cause in india its a big deal and last year same incident happen when a boy ran with money to have this procedure in india itself. he was missing for two months but later parents got to know and complained agaisnt doctor to having this procedure without their consent. It was in news for quite a while.

Having this procedure in 30 days would be ok i can come back to india and live somewhere with friends till i get recovered as i can do job in other states of india.

I want this to be legal wise. I am really looking for that.

if you are from India go with Indian doctors .
There are not.many good Indians doctors who perform this ll.
After 'll don't think r consider about travelling r moving to other place with in 3.5months because practially it will be not so easy.
with my experience I am telling where everyou go for surgery please make sure you have to stay minimum 4nonths the it will be easier for you .
