« on: September 29, 2018, 09:26:38 PM »

Hi guys;
I have finally the Money for doing this operation.
I'am from Italy and i have talked with dr. Pili.
He told me about 8cm on tibias (external).
I'am 1,60.
Any experience here with him?
40 years Is not too old?

40 is not too old.

8cm on tibias is too much if you want decent mobility after.

He is a good doctor from what we've seen but he does ATL which is not recommended as it severely limits your mobility and athleticism even further post recovery.

Do what you want at 40 which can make you happy. Good luck with your journey. I am currently in Italy aswell and I might visit Pilli aswell. It's not that far from Florence.
