Finger lengthening
« on: September 21, 2018, 10:52:29 AM »

It’s been a while since a recent thread was made regarding the type of surgery, however I am shooting in the dark hoping if anyone has a recent information on the topic. I’m aware the type of surgery is for people with lost fingers or similar cases. I’m also aware of the complications, if anyone knows of a surgeon that might possibly consider this procedure cosmetically it would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes!

Fam, your fingers can't be that small. How tall are you and what's your wingspan?

sometimes the use of the hormone IGH (growth hormone)
in adults does not gain results in height due to the closing
of the osteodermis plates, but it can stimulate the growth of feet, hands etc.
maybe it's a help

I have very small hands and short fingers as well; the middle finger is only about 3" (I'm convinced a stressful childhood inhibited bone growth over my entire body, including my face; I look neotenous, but the hands are the worst part). I'm a very sensitive person and I can intensely feel the deleterious effect it has on dominance, making it impossible for me to qualify myself to fully pursue professional work, leadership positions, dates with attractive women. It's a disaster, and cosmetic finger lengthening has to be almost non-existent at this point. But I noticed someone else had posted this some months ago and wanted to revive if someone had any information. I'd go anywhere to get it done.

Go e-mail Dr. Teplyashin with a high enough offer.

Yes I do want to add, before doing this surgery, ask yourself if you have optimized your life to the fullest extent possible (job/career, personality, etc).

Bro my hands are only 16cm. The same most 5'6 girls.

A tip for you, just wear sleeves that are a little shorter. That show your wrists. That way when someone sees your hand, it make it look like your hand is longer than it is.

I finally talk to him. He said the treatment is in trial yet. With animals, ok, but no humans. But he lengthened the finger of a girl.

Did he give you the specifics on why? Bioethical problems or problems with the method?

Anyway, I know of at least one other trial happening in 2020.

No, he didn't. What I wanted from him was to use his bone transplant during consolidation phase (after lengthening)
