Meanwhile, I had heard the max height he'd operate on was 5'9/175cm.

My threshold would also be around there, and would take into account the person's nationality.

If there was actually a method in current existence that I felt was safe and painless enough to not weigh on my conscience: I'd refuse to lengthen a 5'9 Japanese guy who lives in Japan, but not a Japanese-Dutch guy of the same height who lives in the Netherlands. Maybe Rozbruch takes things like that into account?

Either way, 175cm really is the limit for me. You can reach over 180cm from 175cm. The almost sole reason men want to be taller than 180cm is to be taller than other men, with only a few exceptions. At that point, it's just an ego thing, and it doesn't affect their lives in any way. I respect people like Mirin who are above that limit and want LL, and while I understand he'd feel better after LL, he is above a threshold I consider ethical to operate on, when you consider the risks in current CLL. I know Paley does it, but I don't agree with everything Paley does.

Yes I do want to add, before doing this surgery, ask yourself if you have optimized your life to the fullest extent possible (job/career, personality, etc).

All LL is about wanting to be taller than other men.  That's just as true for a man using LL to go from the 10th percentile in height to the 50th percentile as it is for a man going from the 80th percentile in height to the 95th percentile.  The only difference is that the taller man can get to a point where he is taller than most men.  There is no more or less ego involved.

There is nothing wrong with using LL to be taller than 180cm or taller than 185cm or taller than 190cm.  If it were possible everyone doing LL would want to end up 190cm and tower over other men.  There is nothing less ethical about performing LL on a taller man/man who isn't short.

You aren't filling a void that's subject to discrimination and causes depression and anxiety as well as a disadvantage in both the social and working market. That's the difference.

You have no justification other than "mogging" other men. If someone is above average height and they need to do an extremely invasive procedure with a 1+ year recovery term and spend thousands upon thousands of dollars, there is more likely to be other psychological factors going on, in which the height is most likely not going to fill that void. Whereas with a completely well adjusted, 5'5" successful guy with his chips in a row, that height will indefinitely fill that void.

You can't possibly have the same neurosis as you don't receive any of the negatives at your present height. It also takes into question whether you're able to handle the pain, since things were suicide-tier before hand.

Dr. Kulesh said recently to Android, that a woman who wanted cosmetic LL woke up from surgery of her femurs being broke, and wanted to stop the lengthening and just wanted her legs to just recover fully. Most guys who are 5'10"-5'11" who post on here about getting LL, RARELY ever get it when you compare the same amount of men sub-5'6" who SAY they're getting LL.

The 5'10-5'11 guys usually just  post for a bit, speculate and come to their senses or don't find it's worth it enough. They realize their voids wouldn't be filled with LL. If we were all 5'10"-5'11", we wouldn't even know about this place.

You don't have to be short to experience height discrimination.  Average and even above average height men can experience height discrimination (although it is less likely and way less severe than what short men experience).  That just tells us we need to fight height discrimination regardless of whether anyone uses LL or not.  LL is not a solution to heightism.

You have no way of knowing that.

Besides their issues are no less valid that the issues of other men who use LL.

That's their choice.  It's reasonable to say given a height of 5'10"-5'11" LL is not worth it.  But it is also reasonable to decide that LL is worth at that height.

Heightism is a HUGe problem. And i do agree CLl is not a solution to heightism. But how many people are willing to fight heightism. Where are the organizations that fight heightism. Wheare the height activist. There are  very little height activist.
