My last post
« on: August 10, 2018, 10:49:41 AM »

This will be probably my last post on the forum. I don't think I will leave it since it is an useful source of information (despite the multiple annoying threads of newbies asking always the same questions) but I will ask to delete my profile and its posts.I wanted to share some thoughts and opinions with the community since it has been an year I have discovered the forum
I have met a lot of amazing guys and it was a relief to talk with someone about an argument that is not easy to deal with it
I think after 2/3 months of intense researches every user can acquire enough knowledge about the surgery and to choose the best method for himself
Actually LL is the only concrete option to solve the problem(unless miracles but I personally don't believe in them) so starting to save is the main task after the research phase
Probably I will end up doing LL,my only concern is that nothing will change after that in the society: taller people will still have the easiest life, having won the genetical lottery and the hypocrisy will be the same, short males will have still a rough life in everything. This society is a cancer, hearing about feminist movements and female support while short males have to endure LL makes me laugh of sadness
Females have an easier life, they can be short and still be attractive, can do relative easy cosmetic surgeries in order to improve themselves.A girl having relative ugly face can make up with nice body while short males are often (non always but often) seen as having bad genetics
There is no support for male's short stature, the male has to be the strongest in the society view so a short male is good to be mocked.Definitely the male's life is a lot harder
I'm not short and I would have been supporting the campaign of searching an alternative to LL( a few of you will remember the user Harald Oberaelder ) but the majority seems to prefer saving for LL,I still hope someone will do a serious crowdfunding
Well, that's it all, good luck for everyone mates
PS: I am so angry with restrictions of HGH prescriptions, this hormone is very dangerous only at high dosages. A limitate dosage could(it is a possibility, not a certainty but it worths a try, everything worths a try before LL),could have been added up to 4/5 cms saving a person from LL. I would ask to that doc: Seriously,do you prefer that guy risking LL in the future ?
See,this blindness makes me very angry, hundred of thousands of products against baldness and only LL for height gain. Those idiots don't see or refuse to see short height as a problem

They give you the percentile chart (thinking they are very smart guys) and if you are even slightly above their definition of short stature,in their opinion you are ok. It is like a 130 cm guy is short but a 140 cm one is doing great.Yes the world works on the basis of the percentile chart
Screw those idiots and their blindness

Hi man, wishing you all the best luck. I'm a newbie here, but I've been roaming for a while and is currently weighing my options, but leaning towards not going through with LL. I know this isn't your main point, but I just thought about my girlfriend. She's a raging feminist, and she's been telling me all along that I need to "unlearn" the standards set for men and I don't have to live up to society's notions of masculinity. I know this might make some people roll their eyes, but I see how you briefly touched upon it. It is unfair how taller men hold more privilege than us... But I just wanted you to know there's women who are more accepting and not shallow(like my gf (: ) So you don't necessarily have to change yourself.

I'm saying this replying to this post, but not to you. Seriously, don't take this personally 'cause I'm not telling this to anyone in particular, but to the hundreds of users here who take LL as if they were "bound" to do it. Btw I'm female, and hardly post, specially knowing all the misogynist members (both male and female), who are plenty, would ban me out.

LL is a personal decision. No one is pulling a gun on somebody's head to pay for this and do LL. I think no one should "excuse" or "justify" themselves to do this BECAUSE OF others, blaming society, blaming people's tastes and preferences, etc, etc., like THEY are the reason why you "have to" do LL. You pay and go through LL because YOU want to, we all do. Are you doing it for you or for others? It's a choice. You want to be taller which is fantastic; if LL is worth it to you, if YOU THINK it's worth your money, time and pain 'cause it will mean a major change to you and will make you happier, do it! But saying that you're forced into this by others? I believe that's fked up. C'mon be honest with yourself, you have safely and wisely considered and decided you want to do this, every one has his/her own reasons. Yet if people know they will call u crazy and most will not undertand nor support you on this, but it's not their business. It's your responsability. It's your life, you take control.

I agree. I get mildly attacked for my height but they will never know how i feel about them jokingly talk about it.
I've set up a server for ll community for emotional support, exchange of information, cost messurements and kinds of things.
If you're interested pls pm.
