My experience till now has been very very smooth and comfortable.I had the surgery done on 25th May and have already lengthened 6.2 cm.Till now there is little pain and that too on a rare occassion. In the beginning there was pain when I first came to the guesthouse i.e 10 days post surgery, but that went away after 10-15 days as well. The fight from that point onwards was largely about how to not get bored and even that was taken care of pretty well(Kudos to Netflix).

Good for you, keep it up!! Word of advice, don’t go to 7cm. Stand up carefully many times during the days. If the physio guy try to push your feet back up tell him he is an idiot. You need to stand up. And he needs to wash his hands - with soap - before touching your legs.
Work out as much as possible.

I just came from the gym. Tell Dr Sarin I said hello and I’m in no pain at all and I’m enjoying my new height every day.  :)
I do Taekwondo, kickboxing, gymnastics, running, power cycling, inlines, ice skating, skiing, racing motorcycles, lifting heavy weight and all there is to a “good life” - without any pain anymore!

Cheers!

Your callous doesn't look the strongest,  you need to drink milk atleast 500-700 mls per day,  chicken and beef,  orange juice and green vegetables and water.
You will see your callous strengthen , I am talking from experience.

Yeah, thanks man .I did that and have started walking now using a walker.I feel amazing right now.The muscles in my legs aren't that tight and so walking is essentially painless.

This is my current X-ray.Hopefully, I'll be able to continue with the same diet. That coupled with regular exercise will help me get back on my feet as soon as possible :D :D

If you guys have any more questions,I'll be more than happy to help.

I believe my feelings will largely be based on irrational assumptions or current state of mind. But even with that , my current progress makes me feel really positive about the time ahead. I do believe i'll be able to run but that still remains to be seen. I surely upload a video the day I in fact can run :)

thats good. and yea its hard to imagine runing when the bone is stil brittle and muscles weak but in time it starts feeling a norm i guess as recovery happens.
