My goal is 184-188, depending on how my body reacts to lengthening. It's nice to see that there are other taller people on here with similar starting heights, backgrounds, and goals.

My armspan is 186 or 187, sitting height 96 (97 morning) and inseam 31 inches, but I honestly don't think I look too bad at all when wearing lifts to be 188CM.  185 is probably the most ideal for me proportionally, but I feel like 188 is the "sweet spot" height-wise, and the difference in proportions is barely noticeable. I've worn 10CM lifts (making me 188) to presentations, parties, meetings, and have never gotten any negative comments. In fact, on those cases, I get praise for the height and find that people are nicer, and look to me for leadership more automatically. Not to mention women are far more chatty and flirty. There's no denying that it's a nice height to be.

Quote
And at 6'1.5" op, you're taller than a good majority, since the average height for white men is 5'10.5" you are in the 85 th percentile, at 6'2" you will only be in the 90 th percentile, it doesn't make any difference...so why do you want to be taller since you are already tall?

true words in that quote.  I guess the problem is people are so dumbed down they don't even know how to think any more.

if you are taller than average and see 4 people (for argument sake) in your life who are taller than yourself and somehow that leads you to think you are deficient then you have mental illness. you have an unrealistic viewpoint on life compared to a normal outlook.

ok let me set the record straight.

most people are dumb and don't understand a thing.

there are 3 main height's that induce a psychological change in a social setting. these are all induced according to the law of averages.

these heights are:     5'7.........5'9.5...........6'0

at 5"7 you will be told you are not short but if only you were taller. this is the reaction for this height.
at 5"9.5 you will be average height and neither get positive or negative points. if you are less than the average cool person in cool points it is because you are lacking in other attributes.
at 6"0 you are tall. you will gain next to nothing from going beyond this height, except for the fact that your mind is deluded and you have a fake sense of the law of averages because of the small group of the few people you hang around.

if you get Leg Lengthening when you are average height and you think that you are receiving negative points based on your height then you are suffering from delusion.

the first delusion is where people lie to themselves and convince themselves that the lie is true. the first lie is that the average height is more than it really is. that is how the delusion spreads in their own mind.

All people here are talking with numbers so will I do 6 '1 you are 3 inches above average almost 95 percentile.Shoe lifts can compensate that 1 inch, body at that height is almost 50% more aesthetic when well built than other shorter guys. You will loose 20000 euros or more. Half year or more for recovery and you will recieve NOTHING CAUSE YOU ARE ALREADY TALL. And don't fix your insecurities buy adding 1 inch. Built muscle, educate your self, eat healthy become a fantastic lover, have a hobby and improve your life this way. I am 5'8 and I want from short to become fking average. People will respect me more when I am taller. Most people look up to you so the sexy thing and the respect from structure are already there.

right on , one thing I would like to add In real world I have never ever seen one single guy that is average height complaining or getting rejected from anything due to his height it's almost impossible in real world if a girl only like guys 6" and over something wrong with her and she will cheat on u with a taller guy or more handsome guy or someone with more money . I get feeling sometimes some of the people here mentally ill , u can't get a good job or make more money cuz u are short ? Ha my friend is shorter than me 5'6 he makes 50k a month after tax , he has never ever complained about his height and no doubt he gets respect from everyone , not cuz he is rich cuz he became rich from nothing .

Yes I hear you.  At a higher height, its like a chick wanting "D" cup when she is already a "C".  It won't make a lot of difference for the risks, time, money and long-term consequences of the surgery.

I admit that at 179.3cm my life is excellent and only one of my gf said that I wasn't tall but no biggie, she was a cheerleader with a sick bod so a bit superficial.  It is clearly not a necessity in my case, I have a good attitude in life and also a nice "joie de vivre".  With LL I will be the same dude, same personality, have the same family and friends, it wont change my life a lot.  Except perhaps, some things will be a bit easier.

But what can I say, I just think that it would be AWESOMELY COOL to be around 2 inches taller and be over 6ft.  Now its up to me to gauge the consequences vs the benefits.

Like...? Whats going to be easier at over 6ft that isnt at 179cms?
Ego? If you are 179 then LL is not a need, its a want. A luxury you are lucky to have but if you really want to be over 6ft then go for it if it makes you feel better and more confident, I'd rather save and go buy a supercar if I was 179-180cms  8)

I agree completely with GROWtalORdieTRYING1

Easier? Business and chicks.  You can argue all you want but being taller is like being a hot chick, everything is easier for them.

You see, my life is soo wonderful that Im kinda bored and I need some new challenges so whats better than breaking my bones to spice things up!!

If I eventually have chronic pain and arthritis I suppose that the coolness of LL will fade away but its gonna be a hell of a ride before that!  Yes, yes I know, I can have a hell of a ride at 1m79 but as I said, I need to explore.

I'd take the 2 inches over a supercar every day of the week.  (except on week-ends)

I don't think you realize how hard LL is. It's a long and very painful procedure. It's easy to say I have no problems being unable to walk for 6 months but to live through that, not that easy. It's not like getting your nose operated for cosmetic reason where you will have some pain for a few day, I mean you won't be able to walk for at least 200 days if you do 2 inches. Just try 1 day without walking now to see "how fun" this is gonna be. If you do external, you have to clean your pins all 2 days, which takes at least 1 hour, you have to adjust the struds 3 times a day and you have to wear that   24/7, this is also not fun. And internal nails are something completly diffrent, but they will fk you up big time.

If you think it's worth go for it. But I'm a 100% sure you will regret it if you do it.

Well for me its gonna be the G-nail since its fast and less intrusive, the hardest part is actually getting the 100k for it asap, that's partially why I just reoriented in real estate flips.

I don't think that I would have the patience and the cojones to do external, kudos to all of you who did, really!  THAT looks like an infernal ride and I suppose it forges the "mental toughness" accordingly!

D cups to C cup breasts is like starting war and building peace. All though realistically speaking that's only possible if she gains fat or gets surgery.

Fighting heightism would have to mean getting a large groups of people against height shaming to make a social impact. And at the moment we arent there yet. If there were more people fighting heightism than CLL wouldnt exist. But alot of people dont fight heightism. I dont see CLl as accepting heightism. For some people its about them having a chance at life. I think its still possible to do CLL and fight height shaming.
