SALAMEHFIX - Forearm lenthening
« on: March 29, 2025, 04:09:29 AM »

Hey I guys, I want to go for forearm lenthening, but I have been waiting for a long time for appropriate technology to be developed before I go for the procedure.
But then I saw a video of forearm lenthening on youtube-  by Dr ghasaan salameh. So i mailed him some questions and got these answers:

1.whether forearm length in safe or not?

results showing safe procedure on my new method of forearm lengthening as i developed a new fixators it two small fixators for each Ulna and Radios .

2. Some people say there is loss of hand/ forearm movement. Is it true?

yes maybe but not in my new developed method which keep pronation and supination even during lengthening.

3. What would be cost of lenthening 1 forearm 1.4cm?

15 000 euros .

4. How much time would it require?

maybe around 4 months to fully consolidate

5. Can it be done using PRECICE NAIL?

No

6. How long will it take to recover and regain normal hand movements and strength?

around 4 months , but even during lengthening you can use your hand.

What do you guys think about this? He says it is safe due to his new technology. Has anyone got any type of lenthening done by him? Or anyone who went for Forearm lenthening please share your opinions.

I am not the most well versed in forearm lengthening, but I have heard it is more dangerous than normal limb lengthening which already has potential complications as it is. Is this solely for cosmetics (and forearms not being deformed)? Because if it is then getting forearms done would be unnecessary imo as you could just get humerus lengthening, which would be more inches and safer overall.

Then yeah, for an actual discrepancy like that, I think it could be viable. Plus with it being only 1.4cm on one arm the risks would be much less too. Although I don't think 1.4cm would really be noticeable anyway, and for 14k euros at that

I don't know why you're making fun of him. If he has some sort of neurosis-like how we have height neurosis, then he should be able to post questions without being made fun of

then what about a cm?? a mm??

it is total, pure nonsense - to even suggest you will break your arms for 1.4cm, most people have that discrepancy - the point i'm making is obvious - is he REALLY going to do it?? - you don't like the fact that we are discussing a nonsensical scenaro that will never happen - that's what I mean, this is a LL site & 99% of posters will never go near surgery - & some of the recent posts are bat-sh#t crazy 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😢 why post such crap?? - & then you defend him!!??

If you are trying to associate this query with LL - who would travel and spend 10,000's and break their legs for 1.4cm - who???

If it's nonsense - it's nonsense 👍

I'm not disputing that it's crazy. It clearly is, if I had a 1.4cm discrepancy I might not even know about it, let alone pay 15000 euros to fix it. But for people with a neurosis, they think it's a bigger deal. Whether or not he actually does it should not concern you

If there is an actual discrepancy, then forearm lengthening can be worth it, depending on how much it actually impeded you. Most docs won't do it for cosmetic patients, so only do forearm lengthening on the shorter limb if it is actually affecting your quality of life. Here is what another doc said about forearm lengthening:

Stay away. The forearm has too many fine structures in it and permanent damage can occur and lead to loss of hand function. Not worth it for cosmetic reasons!
Pro and supination are dependent on the curved bones in the forearm. As we cannot lengthen around corners, lengthening will always permanently affect pro and supination.

Ktemon - are you for real?? - do you really think this guy will do it? - then you state it should not concern me - according to who - if I am attempting to stop these nonsense theads so that people get some informed advice about LL etc - that is what this site is for & there used to be good entries, diaries etc - just read them & all the info, pros & cons are there

Recently we have had to read of a man who got shot, was in a coma for 3 months & somehow grew 6 inches!! & now a man who says he will break his arm for 1.4cm - jeezzzz 🤦‍♂️🙈🤣🥊

Then you have pathetic trolls calling people names - in support of this crap 🤷
