Restaring my desk job 1 week after the surgery, bad idea?
« on: February 24, 2025, 08:43:28 AM »

I'll have my surgery next month (Femur - Precice 2.2), I'm a freelancer and I usually work from home.
I've considered taking some time to rest, at least the first months after the surgery... But a client asked me for an interesting job with a deadline that would be around a month after the surgery.
Considering that I work from my laptop, do you think I can restart my work a week after the surgery?
I don't know what to reply to my client since it's a totally new experience for me.

It’ll keep you busy bro, and also keep earning isn’t a bad idea since doing this surgery cost a lot of money.

Yes, I have to tackle it with this mindset.
Today I've accepted the work btw.
Thank you bro!

You might not be as sharp as you usually are, but it's totally do-able. I worked remotely during my lengthening process. Was just tired most days due to the lack of sleep.
