Hey guys.
I visited Live Life Taller (LLT) in Turkey, Istanbul last year. I didn't share my experience on this forum because I was inactive. But I figured I should do that to prevent future patients from getting scammed and worse getting crippled. I visited LLT in 2024. I was meet with Mesude the general manager of LLT. My first impression of her is she is slick or a snake. She kept insisting me to pay 750 euros for to meet with the LLT team, X-ray, blood work and to speak to Sedat. I have to repeat myself multiple times I'm not here for medical examination or consultation about precise or LON methods, as I've already done my due diligence on how lengthening works and it's methods. I'm only here to see Sedat and who he is as a person.
We went back and forward for about 20-30 minutes in the clinic. She finally allowed me upstairs into Sedat's office. My first impression of Sedat is that he seems like a cool and caring guy, a little too nice if you know what I mean. As if he has some ulterior motives. In his office we spoke for around 20 minutes about the surgery, methods, possible complications and preventive measures. We took pictures and videos. After I went back downstairs to the lobby. I saw a couple of patients hanging by the lobby. I spoke to some of them. They all say they are doing okay. But deep down they may be hurting as they are walking weird. I was inclined to pull the trigger and just do the surgery I am already there. But my gut is telling me I should leave and do it else where, mainly because I see precise patients walking. I was specifically instructed by best orthopedic doctors in the world that you CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT be walking even with clutches during lengthening with precise method. So I left and decided not go with LLT. Ain't no way.
Instead I went with the best doctor as money was not issue.
If you are thinking about going to LLT to save money, I personally wouldn't for reason listed below. I cannot legally advise you not to go with LLT, but go to turkey and see for yourself first.
LLT:
1. Insane Infection rate
- Brianthesasquatch is doing a great job exposing LLT. If you have not followed him, go to his Instagram and check out the warning page where he documents and screenshots of conversations with LLT patients and staffs.
2. Reusing nails
- LLT would advise precise patient to switch to trauma nails in order to reuse precise nails. Sedat showed me a precise nail in his office. He handed to me, and I refused to touch it. He then say "do not worry, it has even sanitized". In my mind: I was like shouldn't it be brand new and out of the box?
3. Rotation issues
- Denzel (Mr.brokenbone) a former LLT patient says he is doing well, but if you look at this right foot he has signs of rotation deformity. I wish I can post video here.
4. High cost
- LON method is 38,000 Euro, or roughly 39,600k USD (Ain't no body paying 40 grands for LON)
- Precise 68,000 Euro, or roughly 70,800k USD (cost equvilent to doctors in the US, but with high risk assessment)
5. Lies a lot
- LLT doesn't reveal that they only offer 36 PT sessions. Patients were never told that but only after the surgery.
6. Inexperience PT
- PT staffs rotates often. I seeing different physiotherapist in person at the clinic and those advised on LLT videos.
Edit:
7. LLT social media deception
- LLT buys Instagram followers and Youtube subscribers to make it seem their social media platforms is garnering attraction
This is what I have noticed. And is based on what other patients sent me via screenshots and words of mouth. I cannot legally advise you not to go with LLT. But do your own research.
