Birkholtz- south africa july
« on: November 10, 2024, 06:36:32 PM »

Hi, how are you doing in July I'm going to South Africa to have the operation. I'd like to know if there's anyone here on the forum who has undergone the treatment with the doctor and if they could give me information about how the process and the post-operative period went. My goal is to reach 178 cm, I'm 171,7 cm tall.

I'm also looking to go with Birkholtz. There aren't a ton of diaries with him, but people regularly mark him in their top 3 or top 5 surgeons for it, Victor included. I think the main hangup for most is he's in South Africa.

I would also note that he is a more conservative Doctor. He plans on doing 6.5 cm as a rule and treats 8cm as more of a stretch goal (no pun intended). Further, he starts lengthening at a rate of .75mm rather than 1mm like many doctors (such as Paley), so if you want a full 8cm, he asks for 4 months rather than 3 months.

Just saw you're looking for a 6.3cm increase and not more-- so yeah, it sounds like he'd be a fantastic fit for you, actually.
