Author Topic: is soft tissue the major problem for recovering , how to correct it ?  (Read 981 times)

i saw all the problems that could arise , but like bone heals stronger than before and pretty much everything except ,  soft tissue can grow , so is there any way to correct this issue . the thing is i play soccer (though not on professional level ) and still prefer to not lose most of my athleticism , is there a way that i would recover almost completely , by lengthening 5cm in femurs and 3cm tibia . can constant stretching pre-op for about an year (to become reasonably flexible) help in this case ?

A year after the initial surgery? Probably not. A year post consolidation and that’s much more plausible. I’m not 100% sure how the athleticism wanes after the surgery but sources say (including Cyborg4Life) that yeah after a few years time you’ll be back 100%. It varies from person to person but playing soccer after 15 months post initial surgery in my mind seems pretty plausible. I just wouldn’t go too hard.
