shortest time for tibia rod removal?

when can i expect to remove the rods? i'd tried searching it up but only found HJ . his took 2.6 yrs.
quite a long time. while my PT guys said 2 yrs. anyone did it and less than that? i was thinking of going in 1.8 yrs.
