Hi Beemer m3, how are you since your lengthening procedure? I also want to do a 5.5 cm lengthening of the tibia, but I'm not sure how safe the procedure is. How long did it take you to walk again after the surgery? Thanks in advance for your response.

His arms were already short to begin with. If you scroll up the post-lengthening photo to a point where legs are completely hidden and only torso and pelvis are present on the screen, you can immediately spot that his arms are short relative to his torso and pelvis.

I see he's Asian. Most Asians have short arms and you can see that pattern on Dr. Lee's Before & After photos on his website. They have ridiculously short arms, no matter their starting height. But, the shorter the starting height, the more ridiculous their arm length is.

Africans have longest arms and that's why most of them don't look odd after LL.

But, the thing is, most patients who look Artem Lobov level post-LL had already short arms for their natural height to begin with and looked odd even without LL.

His arms are short compared to his old height that is why his arms look disproportionate after the surgery.
I have a pretty long wingspan for my height. I am around 177cm but my wingspan is around 185cm. FYI, majority of the people have roughly the same wingspans as their heights.
I was told from a doctor that I will be very satisfied from limb lengthening surgery. This makes me excited about getting the surgery done.

Anywho, I was also told from an employee at a limb lengthening clinic that the precice max is a game changer in the industry.
I am so stoked for the precice max.

My wingspan is the same as my height and my arms look normal relative to my torso and pelvis. I have short legs and by my calculation, I need 8-9 cm total LL on both segments. I don't think I'll look odd after 3 inches of quadrilateral because my arms look normal for my frame and will look the same after LL, only the distance from ground to arms will increase by 3 inches.

Regarding PRECICE MAX, I agree, it's a game changer after STRYDE nail and I hope it will become de facto standard for femur lengthening like PRECICE 2 for many, many years.

Precice Max seems like the only good nail in the market right now tbh. Manual clicking and non-weight bearing nails belong to the dark ages

What's special about the precice max compared to the previous ones? I heard the diameter is bigger so it might not be suitable for smaller bones - maybe I am thinking of some other nail.

maybe u need to consult with a doctor and get an xray first before u start planning a different nail. precice max is the next generation nail. u can walk without a walker while lengthening. with precice 2.2 u would need a walker for 4 months before u can use crutches. so its definitely something to think about. if u are walking u are already having good PT.
