No one can help me. This is a bad surgery. Because of the pain I can’t sleep every night. I fan very painful. I cry every day. I hate the After-sales service officer. She doesn’t give me any help always says the pain is normal and I doing so less stretching. Really the pain makes me want to die.
No one can help me so I will stop this topic. Goodbye.

Even if you are having a hard time now, it will be okay if the surgery results are good.

I suspect that many of the cases in the forum are fake. To them , the lengthing surgery and the lengthing is easy. They have no pain or little pain. But I think it’s impossible. They are telling lies. If I know it is so painful I won’t do this surgery.

Are you always in pain or is it because of the clicking?

Got it, how much time did you need to return to some sort of normality, because I am currenty living in Thailand and want to return here after the surgery and need to know approx time to reserve for this.

Most overseas Betz patients will do the following:

1. 2 weeks stays - under the package cost
2. additional 2 weeks stays - to familiar witht the clicking and stretching routines. Also to ensure no other complications during these two weeks
3. Do the final XRAY and get all the medications before flying back.
4. You should be walking with crutches and thus you should be able to do the normal stuff you used to do.
5. It is indeed very tiring and challenging to do clicking and working full time at the same time.....but it is doable.
6. Do not rush the lengthening rate and daily stretching & walking are essential.

I am getting better now and I have lengthed 2.8cm.One of the team Peter and Stella had the meeting with me. They changed the medicine for me and told me how to do the stretching. I think we haven’t communicated well before so that I have the bad situation. Terrible communication. But I think it’ll be better and better. I think the betzbone is good and Dr Becker has good medical skills. Then after days I will tell you how I am .

It’s 7 months but I can’t walk without crutches. It’s too hard. My muscles are hard and I’m can’t do the stretching because it can easy to do the accident clicks. I feel painful when I am walking or power. I want to know how long I can walk.

Hi everyone.

Having personally dealt with Dr Becker, I find this diary very hard to believe. It contains virtually no information on start measurements, nail size, health information or background, medicatiion and supposed changes by the team.

I have now had in person consultation, saw the clinic, saw the hospital, saw the rehab centre with patients. I have put down a deposit and my surgery is sceduled in April.

He was very honest about the fact that first two days are hell and full of regrets, he was also honest that they will not do epidural because that stops you from walking which is a MUST for the protocol. He showed me videos of people walking unsupported 2 hours after surgery and videos of people needing crutches and putting most weight on them, each represents around 10% of best and 10% of worst cases. Average height achieved for men is around 9 cm. You will go at 1mm per day(20 clicks) until 4-5cm to stop premature calcification.  After 4 cm you will drop to 0.8-0.5mm per day. Nail clicks at 15 degrees which in theory is twice easier to do than G-Nail at 20 degrees. Full IT band release is included and has been standard for almost 2 years. All your accomodation, food, physio and medication is covered for 2 weeks at the thermal spa hotel/rehab centre.  Then you are given 150 days supply of strong painkillers to take away which are tailored to your body based on blood test and experience in the two weeks. You are free to come back at any time for a checkup/x-Ray and physio and only need to cover your own accomodation and food.

OP
To be clear, he could not imagine anyone getting even a small ducks ass before 5 cm, 1.5cm in the first month is impossible as your bones would fuse. Your initial gap is 8mm, that would mean he did 0.025mm per day for the first month?!?!??! I asked him point blank, what would happen if my pain levels never decreased or there was an issue and he very honestly said that he would stop the process immediately as he is not interested in ruining his reputation and losing millions for my extra 5 cm and 60k.

I will write a more detailed journey diary when I go through the process.
