The following is the information I have collected recently
About delayed bone growth or bone nonhealing
Thank you to all the seniors for enthusiastically providing me with information.

1.Sleep well because when we sleep, most of our bones grow
 2. Take vitamin d, calcium tablets, magnesium, b12, zinc, k2, vitamin c, fish oil
 3. Use a bone stimulator
 4. Eating honey can help inhibit osteoclasts
 5. Read this article carefully (just sit in a place, meditate and think about the bones you want to grow, I know it must be a bit painful but you have to do it, I say this because when you think about it in your mind Your brain prioritizes things when they do something (just thinking about lemons makes your mouth water), just like it works).
 6. If you smoke or masturbate, please stop.
 7. Slow down the extension, stop the extension or reverse the extension
 8. Eat soy products
 9. Drink more water to increase metabolism
 10. Do appropriate rehabilitation exercises
 11. Accordion mode, 1mm, 3mm, 5mm
There are many ways to do this, and you may need to discuss it with your doctor. It can stimulate bone growth.
 12. Be very patient. Sometimes callus recovery will be 2-4 times slower than normal. You must wait patiently.

 13. The following is the last resort, bone transplant surgery

 14. Use osteoporosis drugs to stimulate bone growth. It is best to choose such drugs with fewer side effects.

The above is the information collected during this period
Hope it can help people with slow bone recovery
 Let's all cheer together
Thanks to those who helped me with information

Hi bagga

 thank you for your reply
I feel like the bone is not healing
It's because after almost two months, the X-ray shows no callus between the bones.
The doctor seems to be healing very slowly.
 honestly
 I am also not certain
It should be said that I am afraid that the bone will not heal.
In fact, we won’t know if it’s getting better until the next x-ray is taken.

Not being able to walk is a doctor's rule
I also feel helpless and have to lie down all the time

As for the complexity of the surgery
 I only knew before
There are fewer nerves, blood vessels, etc. in the calf than near the thigh.
 So complications may be less
That’s why I thought it would be simpler and less risky.
Tibias - breaking two bones in one leg, putting blocking nail at the ankles
you can easily ask any LL doctor which is more complicated.
Recovery rate is at 2 times slower than Femur.

As for no callus formation, you are sleeping in bed whole day....what do you think?
You are not moving or walking with support...of course the bone formation is super slow.
it is not surprise no callus formation in Tibias.

thanks for your reminder
In fact, the last time I noticed no callus growing,
 I started to review
 How to exercise
I asked the doctor and he was worried about my pin being crooked.
So don't let me get out of bed
So I thought I would exercise by stepping on the wall
and put a scale on the wall
So I can confirm how much force I'm putting on my legs.
(10kg/one leg)

To prevent the pin from being crooked

Hopefully this exercise will put more pressure on my bones and stimulate growth.

The LON method uses a telescopic monolateral external fixator system, made of biocompatible titanium and aluminum alloy, which is highly mechanically stable to bear the whole body weight...so i dun understand why you need to lie on bed for whole day without walking.

I have also thought about this issue carefully
I compared other people's pins of lon tibia
I found that my pins are 1-2 less than others
Most people have 3-4 pins near their knees
But I only have 2 pins
Plus 1 larger pin but it didn't penetrate my bones.

I guess it's because this reduces the load-bearing capacity.
Or another reason is that the doctor is not sure how much weight he can bear.
He can only use the most conservative method, which is to restrict me to the bed
to keep me safe during the extension process
It’s just that this may sacrifice recovery speed
But this doctor's other patients' bones seem to heal faster than mine
In other words, this method can still allow many patients to grow bones.
 It's just that I'm slower

Day 60
 +30mm

https://ibb.co/m9TQnfy
X ray photo
8/5

Today is a day that reassures me
 Took an x-ray
 My callus has grown out
I was originally worried that my bones would not grow, but I was anxious

I did something during these two weeks
 1. Stop extending
 2. Step on the wall with my feet under 10kg
 3. Eat honey
 4. Increase the intake of nutritional supplements, calcium tablets, vitamin D, vitamin C,vitamin k2 ,etc.

Thank you seniors for the reminder
Let me improve these with the wealth of knowledge gained in this great forum
I would also like to thank other people around me who have undergone surgeries for their guidance.
I hope it goes smoothly the following
Starting from 3 centimeters and ending at the last five centimeters
After that I will extend it by 0.66mm per day

increase your food intake too. You need calories and proteins.

Day 74
 +39.75mm

The extension has slowed down recently
 Increased nutritional intake
 Added exercise training
Went back to the hospital today to take X-rays
The bones are growing pretty well so far.
As many seniors said, slowing down is the best way
If anyone is experiencing pain or slow bone growth, etc.
You can try slowing down the speed
In addition, the painful part was very uncomfortable from the beginning.
I can control it much better now.
Although the lengthening is relatively slow at 0.66mm per day
But it should be extended as long as it can be tolerated
Time also feels like it’s passing faster

 The last 7mm left
The doctor said that the fixator can be removed in about two weeks.
 The day is finally coming...

I am not in Vietnam, but in order to avoid suspicion of advertising, I will not disclose the location of the surgery, but simply share my limb lengthening experience with everyone.

day 94 +50mm
lenthening finished

 The frame was removed yesterday
My feet hurt very much after I woke up.
 Trembling with pain
Removing the frame is much more painful than installing them
But the pain ended that night
Only the original nerve pain remains

When it lengthened to approximately 4.5 cm
I started having nerve pain near my right big toe
 It hurts almost every night
Very little pain during the day
 burning sensation tingling sensation
 Makes me uncomfortable to sleep
The doctor said it will take a while to get better
I have to wait and see.

After removing the frame, the ankle mobility is almost 0
The ankle can't move very well
Rehabilitate more and see if it gets better.

 The day has finally come
 freed
It feels really good to have no frame
From the first day of the operation, we have been heading in the right direction.
 Just keep insisting
You will always reach your destination!

Thank you brother, it seems that we were dismantled at about the same time, and we will work hard to recover together.

I took an X-ray yesterday and found that there seems to be no bone growing on the front of my tibia, but there is bone growing on the back near the muscle. Will anyone encounter a similar situation?  Will it grow out slowly later?

I think that we have our muscles behind that's why the back side is growing first, and because of them the blood and minerals and vitamins and calcium are getting there first.
Wait for some time and you will have clarity, may be atleast 2 or 3 weeks .
Best of luck bro .
