5’3 Need Advice
« on: June 05, 2024, 06:53:44 PM »

So I’m 5’3 on the dot, I have a shorter wingspan than my height, small hands and size 6 US feet. Is doing LL even worth it if my body is quite small? Am I better off accepting myself?

What's your wingspan exactly? You can do LL but have realistic expectations in order to avoid looking like a freak. IMO, 5 cm on femur and 4 cm on tibia is your absolute max limit and depending on your current leg-to-body ratio and arm length, even that might be pushing it.

At least if your wingspan was the same as your height, you could push 4.5 inches in total.

I’m not entirely sure, I think 5 foot, I do have very small hands though which decreases it. I just want to know if I should scrap this idea of getting taller.

Maybe just do 2 inches on tibia with external method and call it a day? 5'5 is livable with tall sneakers when going outside.

5 inches over the wingspan is the absolute max limit IMO and if you do more than 2 inch LL, you will most probably look very weird and AL will be necessary.

Yeah that’s what I thought, thanks for the confirmation. Maybe I should stay away from it entirely.

Or, if you want to look like this guy, go for 6 inches and become 5'9, it's up to you to decide how you'd like to look post LL.
