nerve damage patients and quadrilateral patients
« on: April 09, 2024, 07:54:45 AM »

i have some nerve damage on my right foot. its like a stinging pain. i can deal with on my day. i wanted to lengthen my femurs in the future but im not sure if i lengthen i will still get nerve damage from my foot. if my foot is gonna continue the nerve damage. if u understand what im saying. i dont want more damage on the nerve if i continue lengthening but on the femur side.

i remember the pain when i had the fixators on my legs. it hurt alot at the time but this time i wont have any fixators just a nail.

Hi, Beemer...
Maybe your nerve pain will go away in time... but nobody can answer to your question here, only your doctor. But your doctor must be competent and honest to you !
All I can say is, the more nails you have in your legs... the more are the risks to damage your calves nerves. On the femur is much easier to avoid, because is only big nerve, which they know exactly where are located.
Thats why the Precice is the best and Ilizarov is the worst. Ilizarov is the best only in deformities.
Me, currently, i have "islands" of no tactile sensation on my calves, in frontal side. I hope I will recover them...
