One translator told me something bad about Dr Betz. Is that true. I’m planning to Dr Betz’s institute next month. The Dr Betz is good or bad? Anyone know?

下面我做一个粗略的翻译.

原告是一位叫Krüger的先生，他身高168想增高到178. 2013他接受了贝茨的断骨增高手术，在手术之前，贝茨告诉他这个手术跟植发手术一样非常的轻松.听起来就像一次度假。 经过几个小时的谈话，他选择了相信贝茨. 2013年的七月他接受了第一次手术. 从2013三年到2014年手术后一年中Krūger 只能坐在公寓的轮椅中，他感觉就像一个犯人，尽管贝茨告诉他5个月以后他就可以恢复正常行动。
这还不是最糟的，五年以后的2018年，他仍然坐在轮椅上，为此他放弃了他的工作和他的爱好，现在只有他的妻子还陪伴在他左右。
经过五年的痛苦的折磨他决心将贝茨告上法院，他要求贝茨赔偿他肉体和精神上的损失。他的在法院陈述中表示，贝茨在手术的安全性上忽悠了他， 在手术前，他特地问了贝茨，他是否是骨不连的体质，贝茨非常坚决得否定了， 贝茨告诉他的骨骼跟一个体育运动员一样健康，并且贝茨说他的贝茨针是世界上最好的内髓针是100%的成功率.

Krüger接受了手术，手术后的四星期的一天入植的内髓针发生断裂， 随即在去医院的路上，大腿的骨骼也发生断裂.

出于无奈，贝茨给他做了第二次手术， 手术四星期以后一检查，Krüger发现内髓针弯曲，他把这个疑惑传达给贝茨，贝茨完全不承认，而且变得暴跳如雷.贝茨仍然要他每天继续延长1毫米。本来他的骨骼应该很快会钙化，但是经过几个月，钙化没有形成.他得了骨不连.到今天Krüger 每天都在痛苦中活着,后悔当初不应该轻信贝茨把自己的命运轻易地交给了一个骗子.

Krüger 律师相信，贝茨不应该给病人做这个手术，病人是骨不连体质，先决条件不达标.明知不可为而为之，抱着侥幸的心理，这是违反一个医生基本职业道德的，在第二次手术失败后贝茨跟病人玩起了躲猫猫。为此贝茨应在精神和肉体上对原告进行的赔偿.
律师提到，这已经不是贝茨第一次手术失败，他的代理人中还有一位来自中国病人也是骨不连，到目前为止病人的肌肉和神经已经无法还原，今天仍然无法抬腿。而这一切贝茨都不承认也没有把这些失败的案例，向联邦卫生局报告，这已经构成了犯罪。

法院已经立案调查，医疗界人人皆知，贝茨名誉已经扫地，无人光顾他的私人诊所。

Dr. med. Becker has now taken over Betz practice. There are no problems like this anymore I think. Dr Becker has not received any complaints from any of his patients so far (you can read the patient experiences yourself). i think if non union happens isnt it easy to find another doctor that can do bone graft? i guess the chinese patients dont read forums like us where we can find a doctor to repair surgeries or even vital information but i also heard that bone consolidation happens really fast. even faster than monorail lon femur lengthening.

贝茨不应该给病人做这个手术，病人是骨不连体质
I think it is Patient's responsiblity to do the thorough check up before LL Surgery.
Patient should do the Bone Mass Density, underlining illness and etc.
You know your body better than anyone.
If you are trying to cover your own ilness, noone will know.

The surgeon would do the Pre-Surgery check up but not sufficient to cover all.

I am thinking of going to Betz as his prices seem very reasonable and he seems to be well credited. Does anyone know if his nail is actually good for faster recovery? If so how long before you guys got 80% normal life?

It is not the nail which speeds up your recovery, it is the fact that’s weight bearing and allows you an immediate mobilization. That’s key however it will take his time. Up to a half year post lengthening for walking properly and up to one year for a full recovery (jogging etc).

I heard unfortunately few bad stories about the recovery and bone growth especially - some people have even or almost  non union, I guess it is because of the saw Becker use to break the bone what prevents bone growth what palsy say in one of his videos...

Can’t agree re. slower recovery. From what I’ve read on the forum from patients who went to other surgeons and compared to my own recovery, it seems like thst Betzbone is actually supporting a faster recovery. And I think that obvious given you are fairly quickly mobilized which causes the so needed pressure on the bone in order to regain new bone. I was walking without crutches after 2 weeks (very funny way of walking though) and after three months I’ve been almost back to normal in terms of day to day activities (work, go out, etc.). Am now five months into consolidation and it feels like I’ve never had any surgery. The only thing I still need to work on is to jogg at my pre-surgery capacity, other than that, all good on my end.

 Eventhought you can’t reverse the nail, probably is the best option out there!..  I just can think of being in a wheelchair 4 months.. full wheight bearing is the way to go, is a shame that USA and paley failed again with pmax… until 2027 probably..

I think you are talking on Femur LL
Tibias will take 2-3 times longer period.

Its a weird one but apparently full weight bearing on thibia means that people get back to walking without support in 3-4 weeks after surgery. I have seen some stories of people traveling the world while lengthening betzbone on thibia. Normal walking apparently does 90% of tehstretch work on that section of the leg.

Do your research pleas, consult the doctors rather reading Weird Cinderalla Stories.
Tibias LL is more complicated than Femur and thus the cost of surgery is higher.

You can still travel and work with Betz nail, walking with crutches for limited distance and stability.
This is applicable to both Femur and Tibias

Most Patients go home after 3-4 weeks post surgery and continue normal life like working, driving and etc.
Normal walking without any support after 2-3 weeks is a joke if you think it is possible.
The gait is totally out without crutches.

Be cautious and aware of ankle screw, not to overstess and end up broken with complication.
Doctor always advise you to walk with crutches.
