Can I theoretically accomplish 13+cm lengthening?
« on: December 28, 2023, 11:16:42 AM »

I am very short in my place(162cm). I need to get up to 175cm to be average, and if everything goes smoothly I will lengthen more.
My tibia is like 34cm long and my femur is like 40.5cm long. I have yet to measure my armspan accurately but since I am an E.Asian it is most likely to be pretty much up there with my height, but at this height I don't even care about being disproportionate.

Aim for something like 6.5 cm femur and then see if you can tolerate 1 - 1.5 cm more to get 7-8 cm.

Complete this first then after a few years if you want more aim for 4 cm tibia and see if you can tolerate one more cm or one and a half more cm to 5 cm - 5.5 cm tibia.

This would get you to 172 - 175 cm range which is a whole other bracket.

I dont think you should aim for more than this because remember after these you are sacrificing too much mobility its no good being more if you cannot walk up or down stairs permanently.

Even the numbers i mentioned will be a lot of hard work recovering and many years.

i would aim high and go 7.5 femurs and 5.5+ tibia. theres a few good stories on livelifetaller youtube videos. but they do some over the limit lengthening. they got a good facility though. possible but ur going to have to sacrifice alot of time. if u go for weight bearing nails the recovery is faster. with precice ur going to use crutches for alot longer. how old r u ? ur muscles will be stretched for a long time. if u have good pt they will help out alot.
