Could I go from 5'1" (155cm) to 5'7" (170cm)?

Assuming doctor, money, and pre-surgery strength/mobility are taken care of, is it possible for me to reach my dream height?

Can't say you can def go from 155 to 170cm but you can get up to a height that is pretty much 170cm. I think you can def do 13cm but whether you can do 15cm is tentative but 2cm is really not a significant difference.

Are you a male or a female?

If you are a male, then damn..

If I were you, I would be willing to lose some athletic ability to reach 170 cm.

Yeah I'm short even for my ethnicity. For some reason I stopped growing at 14 and got left with really short femurs, so I'm hoping I'll have one last miracle growth spurt. Doubt it'll come now at 18 sadly...

At what height would you say is the max I can likely recover most of my athleticism? I don't plan on making a living on sports or competing but I'd want to live my life still. I have disproportionately short femurs so I don't see biomechanics being an issue.

8cm femur and 5cm tibia are the maximum safe lengths

Since you have short femurs, I suggest going for 8cm femurs + 5 tibias. For 15cm you gotta o 8 + 7.

Wow I am at the same situation like you with just 157cm. Some doctors will do 9cm on femur if your process goes well. A doctor told me generally speaking that short people (like us)have stronger bones and proportionally shorter legs so limb lengthening should help alot.

You will probably loose athleticity when going this far to the max but i do not have to tell you how it is when you are with your starting height. For me personally it is a small price to pay…

8cm precice femurs and 7 cm lon tibia. When u get to the tibia part it gets painful. But 7cm tibia is achievable depending on the person. That's alot of money and alot of time and determination.  Alot of videos on YouTube shorts. Try watching it and get motivated for it.
