Evert time you've been still for more than a minute then it takes a couple of seconds "to get started" again.
Some days your knees ache more than others. Some days it's fine.
You will definitely feel it every day, more or less.
If you're exercising you won't feel anything(remember: it's all individual).
You won't know if you'll be permanently affected but most things heal with time.
With 5cm you'll most likely be okay.
I wish I'd rather would have done 5cm on tibias. Recovery time is also devastating to your psychological state of mind.
I've been so down bc of all the setbacks I've been facing that I've even considered killing myself. I can't stand a physically challenged life.
But yesterday I fought for a full hour in Taekwondo class doing rather good even though I'm slow as a beginner but I think I can work up my explosivity in my muscles again.
