Im still living with my parents, and i had only one term left of my university program, so i decided to postpone it to get LL. So financially it wasnt that difficult to deal with, i had a lot of savings on my bank account, some inherited and some i earned myself. And i chose a relatively cheap doctor.
Il get my bachelors degree in spring next year and by then i should have recovered a lot.
My parents understood my choice after they realized how unhappy i was.. they also have always thought that it is my right to do what i want with my own money, they agreed to help take care of me after i convinced them that i had done all the research about this and that it isnt as dangerous as it sounds (while still being a very serious procedure). They knew that i was strong enough to do it since i have managed to do well in school despite having many unlucky problems happening to me during my teens.
I havent returned yet, but the only question mark i have is how my friends will react, im confident almost all of the ones i know well will notice the height increase immediately, but i dont know if they will be blunt about it and openly talk about it.
It will depend on how well that goes (how big of a deal they make out of it and how much they will dig for answers) and how fast it will take for them to drop their suspicion and let it go, if it goes away fast and easy then i expect my life to become just as i always dreamed it to be very soon, otherwise it might make me feel insecure in the foreseeable future despite life being much better compared to pre LL times..
