Kinda have a problem
« on: June 20, 2023, 11:52:43 PM »

So I am average height for my country which is 173cm but in my country there is a huge height difference between gen z kids(I'm gen z as well). Amd the rest of the population. The average for example in my high school was 182cm for guys(I'm a guy btw). The thing is that I have seen a lot of pictures of people doing 3inches but they mostly look abnormal to be honest. Do you think being taller  but disproportionate is better? Is it worth it to become average height but having wired proportions?
I mean let's be real. You can't expect to end up with normal proportions unless you have like a huge torso and a 10cm+ wing span which most people don't have

For you 2 inches is enough.

I really dont know where you got this idea of people looking disproportionate after doing only 3 inches of LL. 3 inches is not enough to make you look disproportionate in most cases. And even then No one notices or cares if your proportions are a slight bit off. But EVERYONE notices height. People dont have perfectly sculpted bodies. Generally i think your overthinking this, if you stick to 2-3 inches you most likely will be fine body wise, unless you are already rather unproportionate to begin with. If your that worried about proportions talk to a dr or have a consultation and give them your wingspan. They will recommend how much and what segment you should do

I know it won't be a big deal. What I meant is that when you are standing next to a natural person with the same height you look disproportionate but in other situations people don't give a shiit or even notice. It only is noticable when you are comparing with someone else

Kinda sucks paying an awful lot of money and spending a lot of time only to end up still below average. I think being short is the worst physical trait a man can inherit because it is the hardest to fix. This isn't the case with a nose job or a chin augmentation or other stuff because they are so easily fixed but in case of short stature it is just a pain in the a$$

The average in your high school isn't 182cm if the average in your country is 173cm.

This is just another typical autistic post about how 'gen z is so tall bro, 6ft 2 is nothing nowadays, you have to be 6ft 5 or it's over'. Source: trust me bro.

I thought this exact same thing but decided its not even worth trying to argue with OP over that. There is simply no way the average height of gen z males where hes at is 6 foot.

Again if you decided to do 2-3 inches, even when standing next to someone of the same height you wouldnt look unreasonably disproportionate if you even looked disproportionate at all. Everyone has different femur/ tibia lengths and wingspans. People are different, no one has the same body type. But ill say it one more time, people dont care or notice proportions. And your not one of those people whos doing a more larger amount or two segments  so i truly do think youll be fine and that you are overthinking it.

As for the second part you just said your the average height in your country, then in the same sentence said you would still be below average… im sorry am i missing something? You would be ABOVE average if you did this. The average height of male wether gen z or not is not fkn 6 foot and regardless of what you say its bull💩. If your average now this surgery would take you above that so idk why your saying you wouldnt be average minimum. Yes being short is one of the worst physical traits a man can have (despite you being average not short) with like micro dcks coming up close behind it. but unlike penis size that cant be fixed height can be changed, you have the options available. So if you really want this then do it. Theres no point in complaining about average height this and that, if your not satisfied with your height do something to fix it, it certainly aint easy but nothing worth having ever is.

You need to expand your magical definition of "natural person". Start looking for people's proportions when you're out and you'll see all sorts of things (long torso/short legs, short torso/long legs, short/long femurs, short/long tibias).

Once you realize that's the reality, you might stop obsessing over proportions and thinking that 3 inches are making you look abnormal. Think about it this way, there are people out there, who naturally have similar proportions to yours but 2-3 inches longer tibias or femurs. For them, that's natural, because that's all they know.

OP you could do humerus LL after leg LL if you find you are not happy with your proportions. It would likely balance things out well for you. Most people decide it's completely unnecessary, but given your concerns it's a potential solution.

The actor Henry Cavill has weird proportions. Yet, he's one of the hottest stars out there. You're overthinking how much of a difference a mere 3 inches (max) on one segment will do. And under-estimating how much natural variation there is in skeletal proportions.

I am curious the country you come from. The average height of my country is 173 as well and I find that some high school students are very tall. 🥲

I learned somewhere that if your lengthening amout lies within 10cm, you will not be disproportionate. Even if the surgery will make you disproportionate, for ppl here, they will of course choose to be taller but disproportionate.

Let me tell you something.
I did the surgery 3 years ago and got 3 inches on femur.
I was average in everything before the surgery. I had average height, average femur/tibia ratio, average leg to body ratio and my wing span was exactly equal to my height.
About proportions I have to say that I don't look normal.
I have long femurs which is not something a natural person would have. My torso became short and my arms look short now.
And it is not something I can hide with certain clothing and stuff. The reason some people in this forum say you will look normal is that they themselves are either very short which proportions won't matter to them or the already have huge arms and torsos.
And by the way you won't be as athletic as you used to be.

I agree.  But there is a catch. If you have a 10/10 face, are rich and have a muscular body then disproportions aren't that much of a problem. But not everyone is Henry Cavill.
I was for example an average looking person with an average face. I am certainly taller now but much more disproportionate

So do u regret to do LL? Are u unhappy because of your disproportion body? Hope u can tell us more about losing athletic ability. Thanks!

Honestly I can't tell. I'm taller which is much better but I'm disproportionate which is much worse but in the end I think nothing changed. The bad parts crossed out the good parts. The thing is that being taller is a huge gain but I got fooled by glade advertisement of doctors. They claim it won't cause any disproportion at all but there is unless you had very long arms or legs.

JerryBorry isn't it possible to hide your disproportion by doing Tibia or just wearing regular pants and not slim fit?

I have to be very careful with clothing but that doesn't do it completely. It is like if a woman tried to hide a receding chin with make up. It just doesn't work. And when ever you take off your clothes it just became a super obvious

What was your starting height and new height? 8cm could be more disproportionate starting 5'1 vs say 5'6+. I've found doctors don't seem to care about proportions and most patients do care. Funny how when one's getting paid and it's not their body they can be very detached and academic about it...

There certainly is skeletal variations but you have to remain between 2 standard deviation bellow or above average. And not all the disproportions come together naturally. There are guys with long legs naturally but there aren't guys who have long legs, short arms, tiny hands and disproportionate inter limb ratio at the same time

Many Korean actors have very long legs and average torsos. But yes, they have 10/10 face and muscular or fit body. Therefore, people don’t think they are disproportionate and praise them long leg handsome guy.

That would be true if both sides of the distribution were equal. But they are not. In general, longer legs (up to a certain point, of course) are seen as an “attractive” feature. Shorter legs are not. This applies to both men and women. Plenty of studies seem to back this aesthetic intuition up.

For example:
https://www.dmarge.com/longer-legs-attractive
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/men-long-legs-attractive-women-dating-psychology-relationships-a8352976.html

Unless your legs are already long relative to your height to begin with, 3 inches is probably not going to make you look bad aesthetically. Outside of extreme situations, being taller and a bit disproportional is almost always going to be more attractive than being shorter and more proportional.
