I had overall total leg length measured by EOS scan for femur LL at consult. I was not checked for total length during lengthening just distraction of nails in my femurs until the very end.  A few mm discrepancy is more common than exactly even in the general population.  I had 4mm diff when I early consolidated one leg and was told I could keep the extra 4mm and just be done if I wanted. Hope everything works out well for you.
thanks for reply.
sorry, one last q : what was your original length difference betw the legs ?

Zero original difference which is atypical. My total was off by same ~4mm the nails were off. I was told it was not common to have no difference. That surprised me to learn but it's easy to Google around and confirm for yourself it's true. You'll find much more info if you research but you can start with link below:

Good luck with everything.

thanks man. you good luck too.

p.s haha your case keeps intriguing me as you have relevant exp to me, so i can't stop having q for you, but wouldnt blame if you pass on. so you mean no difference before surgery but ended up 4mm difference? and did that difference occur on the each sides' vertical lengths of femur (from groin to knee) or the femur bones themselves' lengths ?

Your doctor is idle and you are here asking bunch of strangers on the internet about what to do? You literally have the right to get information from you Doctor, x-ray guy, nurse etc. Talk to them and don't stop unless they respond

thanks  for replies, all.
doctor explained in my visit. i expressed subjective and temporary experience and feelings at that moment, so i recommend viewers of this thread should not judge or make generalization

So you're feeling good and not worried about discrepancy / full leg x-rays anymore?

After all that, the least you could do is tell us the details. Did you get full leg x-rays?   Is there a discrepancy in total combined femur+Tibia? Is there no difference at all, not even in just tibias alone? Glad everything is ok

no, nothing's solved.

I just tried to be objective and reserved to judge about him at the point.

But in fact, it's disturbing to know the way he's responding.
Xray clearly shows discrepancy and his explanation somewhat doesn't make sense, and he's still avoiding my additional questions.

Sorry to hear that. What was his explanation? How much have you lengthened on each leg?

He said knee stiffness distorted the Xray. But nail's lengths etc showed exact lengths. So why leg lengths are only distorted then? He hasn't answered.

Though i said i'm reserved to judge him now, it's getting clearer to me.
