« on: June 17, 2023, 01:20:20 PM »

Imagine you got this done decades ago and you are now like 40-60 yo and now you have a son Who is 18-30 yo 5'2-5'7 and want to do this so bad, would you support It? What if he found you did after? Or you would tell him not to do It?

Not worry about his incoming suffering and maybe a future cripple?

Of course I would if he was less than average height.
How would I not support my son while I did the same thing? And even my dad supported me who didnt even know about LL before I did it.
I would totally support my son to do LL if he hasnt had a respectable height and I would also pay it if I had the money.

Guy has posted for 17 times and is still overestimating the incidence of being crippled....

Im researching this for my son not for me.  It’s like asking if your daughter wanted a nose job.  But you need to go to a top surgeon.  A lot of bad surgeons in turkey and Asia.

It's not. This is a lot more painful time consuming and risky then a nose job. Also, being short puts you at a lot of disadvantages in life vs having a not so good looking nose.

I would pay for it. In fact, if I don’t end up having a tall wife, I’ll probably keep some money saved just for this purpose

Its riskier in terms of complications and requires a top tier a surgeon.  The rsk in the operations are not that dissimilar.  It s really risk of nonunion, nerve risk and incomplete recovery.  All which need to be managed. The benefits are far more than a nose job
