Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum, and I apologize in advance if I accidentally don't follow certain posting rules.

I just want to ask if anyone knows what the weight bearing capacity will be for the new Precise 4 nail that will be released either near the end of 2023 or early 2024? Will it be the same as Stryde(aka. 113kg, or 250lb)?

I plan to do my procedure in 2024 using the new internal nail. Between Dr. Mahboubian and Dr. Debiparshad who should I take? Considering these following factors:

1. I want to do tibia first then femur, ideally don't do femur until I am already into the consolidation phase for tibia. I am especially hoping to get a full 7cm gain on my tibia because my current tibia lengthen is particular short for my current height, and I have always wanted a longer tibia.

2. Plan to live close by my choice of institute for limb lengthening throughout the entire distraction&consolidation phases, so safety of the area and selection&quality of physical therapy sites are extremely important.

On a side note, I am wondering why Dr. M charges so much more than Dr. D? It's insane to see the price difference.

Much appreciated for anyone who shares their useful opinions and input!

Where did you get that kind of information that a new weight bearing nail will be released so soon? Paley said in Cyborg´s interview that successor of stryde will be available at the earliest in Q4/2024.

You prob heard wrong. It's coming Nov 2023 for select US clinics. I'm guessing Paley and Dr D and a few more. Then early. 2024 more rollouts

According to Paley at the earliest it would be back in Q4 2024.

That's outdated. 7 months ago is a long time. Go find a recent video and stop passing along false info

I actually emailed Limbplastx directly and this what they said in their response email:

"The stryde nail is potentially going to be released in Oct 2023.  We do not have the date as of yet but midsummer should have more information."

And I watched one of the latest videos on Limbplastx' Instagram, and Dr. D confirmed himself that the new nail, known as Precise 4(no longer Stryde since they are retiring this name), will be released in late 2023 if not early 2024, to selected doctors at least. This is the link to the video:

No it's going to be officially called the Precise MAX, it has already been leaked. Don't know much other details aside from the name and release date (for select US doctors)

Damn for real? Do you know where I can find the leaked source? I'm just really concerned about how high its weight bearing ability will be like.
