Quick one for travellers after recovery as it would be my first time to fly out now that I am able to walk and move around.
I have two rids in my femurs and lengthened using LON method, was wondering if the rods are going to be detected upon security check in the airport ? I guess LON rods are titanium but probabaly the screws are not ? So if anyone had similar expierence appreciate if you can advise
Do I need to ask doctor for some note or letter to give to airport security?

Yeah its better if you ask a written letter from your doc to show security.

No one cares at the airport. They understand that this is surgery related and that's about it.
It's normal nowadays to get rods in your legs even after a simple fracture at some places as an alternative for a cast.
