I'm now ready to take the plunge - Seeking advice. My story
« on: April 15, 2023, 05:04:23 AM »

Hi guys, I hope you're all doing well. All my life I've been below average height in America. Objectively, it's affected multiple facets of my life from dating to work but most importantly on how I see myself. I'm 29 and 5'4" (165cm). I've always put those concerns to the side but recently it lead me to a very deep depression for about 2 years after some events that were due to my height. After so much assessing my choices and through different avenues of therapy and self-reflection, I've realized LLS is the one thing that would make me happier and change my life for the better (As I'm sure you all know the feeling of). For a year I've been saving up money and researching Doctors but realized It's still going to take some time financially to get to a point where I can pay for this. So that leads me to some questions:

Has anyone been operated on through a LLS clinical trial?
Most of the recommended Drs in Turkey confirmed I can reach at least 5'9/5'10" with both the femur and tibia surgeries. Is this common?
Could anyone recommend Doctors in other parts of the world so I could research them with strong cost effectiveness? The US prices are very disheartening.

Cheers

You could go to Dr. Becker for the Betzbone or Giotikas for Precice/G-nail if you wanted to.  Both doctors are cheaper - I believe it is around $60k USD for Betzbone and $48k USD for Giotikas Precice.

Theoretically, you could also achieve greater length with G-nail and Betzbone compared to Precice.  One member on this forum, maxheight35, did 7.6cm Betzbone on tibias, and another StandTaller did Betzbone 11.5cm on femurs.  So that would be over 19cm on two segments or basically put you up to 6' if you got really lucky with recovery and complication prevention.

Hello my friend i will write honestly. I understand what you're going through, I want to have the only surgery and reach those heights. Livelifetaller - wannabetaller - dr yuksel yurttas - AFA mustafa uysal - Becker - Gliokas - Serkan gurcan - Fatih arslanoglu - Stay away from these doctors and companies. Most people here are advertising these doctors. I'm telling you the truth. I will tell you premium ss tier doctors. There are doctors like Paley in this video. The only reason you don't know most of them is because they don't advertise on this forum. Don't believe Becker and gliokas bitches those doctors are not premium

It will be better for you to surgery on the doctors in this video.

Any doctor can do any method you choose. Those who produce these are not doctors, but health companies. So instead of going to the becker and gliokas butcher just for nails and paying that much money, you can do it in another country with a safer doctor and cheaper, just research. That doctor is not a good doctor just because his name is written on this forum. Or people recommending it to you doesn't make that doctor good. Good luck!

The surgeon that I would do this surgery with is Franz Birkholtz. Look him and set a consultation to know more about their clinic.

Here is the link: https://birkholtz.health/

Dr. Birkholz was very high on my list. If I didn't do the surgery in the US, he would be my #1 choice outside.

Really appreciating these replies - keep them coming. Is anyone aware if there's any clinical/experimental trials for LLS in the US?

dont go turkey. at cheapest go Germany or Greece. they seem to still get consistently good results. Usa is best but I consider those good options too.
165cm is 5'5 also.

Agreed with Oklama. Also lengthening more than 7 cm on femurs and more than 4,5 cm on tibias according to Cyborg4life in a recent live video, is overlengthening, and should only be done if your body actually can tolerate it!

@DanishViking
It's clear you're advertising Dr glikokas.
Your arguments is all speculation, no facts... The death at Dr. Giotikas has nothing to do with the method. It is as likely to happen with tibia lengthening.
Regardless of doctor your're running the same risk for fat embolism. But comparing the god of limb lengthening with Dr. Giotikas will not be fair, espicially when he charges more than twice as much for the same procedure ;)
Espically surgeons in Turkey and India. It's a part of this surgery that your're running a extremely low risk of dying and Dr G even points this out before surgery, not like many other crap surgeons who never openly talks about potiential complications and the risk here of.

Good luck finding a surgeon with more experience, who is more honest and is taking more precautions by doing things in a certain way to avoid complications, for a better more reasonable price than dr Giotikas in Europe. It ain't gonna happen at least for now...
Sorry buddy but at that height you should properly look into leg shortening lmao. And doing LON is taking a way to big of a risk. It is not safe and most people end up with some bad complications. Espically if you go to cheap surgeons in turkey. If you want the best bang for your buck in EU you should go with Dr giotikas in Greece. He have decades of experience, does thing in a certain way to avoid complications and Doesn't lengthen by using risky methods!
The best bang for your buck is Dr. Giotikas in Greece. He has decades of experience, does the operations in a certain way to minimize complications and has really affordable prices.

And no I'm not sponsered by him LMAO. I have just done more than a year of research on this topic, and the best option in Europe for the money is him. I'm going to do G-nail Femurs or Stryde presumed it's out again, when I have enough money.
I think you should go for Giotikas. He seems to have the most experience compared to the price you pay, and can offer G-nail which is weightbearing, that can make the journey much easier!
But maybe you can do G-nail with Doctor Giotikas? It is also weight bearing!
What evidence? One death out of thousands and thousands? Dr G points this out before doing the surgery. Your're running this risk with every surgeon. We don't know if that person were a smoker or vaper. 4 times Paley experienced this with patients they were smokers... Your talking like he has had 100 deaths out of 1000 surgeries...
As you wrote "Your arguments is all speculation, no facts..." Stop poisoning people with false information. You support your doctor like a football team supporter and you insist your own truths on people. Why are you telling people what to do? Do you consider yourself the savior messiah? You have no proof other than a few links and youtube videos. Also, what you call proof is thesis. It's not a proven thing. You vomit hatred for the lon method - turkey - india in your every article. I guess people don't prefer Greece. I am a westerner and I can say that greece is one of the worst countries in cll. Also, dr gliokas cannot and will not be at the level of any western doctor. I agree with some of what you said, for example, most western surgeons do not recommend lon, but one of the reasons for this is the desire to earn more money. It is done in non-cosmetic limb extensions and is considered very safe. There is no one here who writes such articles other than you. Anyway, you know best. You will change the entire cll community. All the knowledge and experience we have gained is garbage. Believe what this person says. I don't know what his qualifications are, he's not a doctor, but I think he knows something :)
