Hi Guys,

Requesting only LL veterans and doctors to answer this query.

I'm 7.5 months post Op - bilateral femurs with precise. Still using crutches for walking (with 100% WB) ! 
Getting anxious to start unassisted but have been told to continue with crutches.

Based on your journey and experience, do you guys think I have decent callus to start unassisted walking ? You can check my latest Xray here -

You can start but don't overdo it. (not medical advice)

Sounds like you already have your answer from your doc.  Keep walking assisted.

Your bone formation is on its way but its not going to provide serious support at this stage especially looking at that second to last pic.

Your bone formation does not appear to have reached bridging of the cortical bone in three planes.
I think full weight bearing is still dangerous.

Is that the intramedular nail thats gonna stick forever in your bone??
