kamaruusman - I agree with you for the most part, and yeah it's properly just luck tbh. Regardless of doctor your're running the same risk for fat embolism. But comparing the god of limb lengthening with Dr. Giotikas will not be fair, espicially when he charges more than twice as much for the same procedure ;)

I'm not sure about this one tbh. The way the osteotomy is done might also influence the risks of FE, if it's done as refined as possible. And for sure, the way they anticipate and treat it if it does happen that will make the difference. By the way, Paley has had 4 fat embolisms cases last time I checked and no one died. He claimed that it were because those patients were smokers.

Dr Giotikas said on that video that the fat embolism happened to his patient after 7 weeks.
I thought the fat embolism only can happen early after the surgery is done, like a few days later maximum.

How come the patient can get FE 7 weeks after, I would think I am safe after 7 weeks?

So if I do lengthening I am at risk during the whole lengthening process to get a fat embolism?

🙋🏻‍♂️same questions here!
I watched some YouTube videos, all of theses mentioned FE may happen early after the surgery, within 3-6 days.

I’m a bit confused why such bad rep for Dr Debiparshad. Sure he advertises, but it’s just having an instagram and Facebook page? With like 3k followers. CLL is not his main practice, a lot of people needs to fact check this by just googling his name? In fact, his clinic isn’t even called Limbplastx, you go into his clinic where he does spine and orthopedic surgery for actual people who are hurt. 80% of his patients are non CLL people. He does surgery Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week. And only some of the fridays he does CLL. I do think his numbers of how many CLL he does is lot accurate. I think he has 2 cases on average every week. Say 46 weeks a year, that’s about 100 cases a year.

Disclaimer, I did do my femur precise 2.2 with him last month. I get nothing for supporting him nor do I get anything for going against him, these are facts from what I know being here. I think he is one of the cheapest CLL, I paid $70k for everything (excluding airbnb and meds). He even gave me a wheelchair and walker. Hospital he uses is sunrise hospital which is top tier, it’s where the victims from the Vegas shooting a few years ago went. Hospital fee was $10k (hsa/fsa eligible) and the other $60k goes to Dr. D’s office.

I mean he’s a Harvard grad surgeon, his sutures are cosmetic grade where he does some technique from the inside out or something so they barely show. I mean I do think Paley is still the better doctor but CLL is a 1.5 hour procedure and really not that hard lol, it’s not like it’s a neurosurgeon where 1 single twitch will change the outcome of things. I don’t think having a S tier doctor vs a A- tier doctor will change the outcome of anything. It’s the PT and how much effort you put into stretching that will be a game changer

Paley literally exposed the amateur mistake he did. Sounds like you're just justifying your own choice. In this surgery, every little thing matters.

Fair, but looks like it was on the tibia from a surgery over a year ago. Either way, no doubt there's no comparison to Paley, and I'm not going to argue against that. For femur specifically, I think Dr. D is in the A tier list, no comment for tibia since I do not have enough research for him on that department.

Let me tell you what you should stay away from instead of S tiers.

Doctors and companies to avoid:

1- Athensbjr - Giotikas
2- Livelifetaller - Halil buldu - Sedat
3- Wannabetaller - Yunus
4- Yuksel Yurttas
5- Limblengthening-center - Serkan Gurcan
6- Lengthening Turkey - Fatih arslanoglu
7- AFA - Mustafa uysal
8- Stay away from countries like egypt - iran - india - greece - armenia - russia
You will be fine if you operate on any doctor except those on this list.

Dr. Giotikas is kind of new in this cosmetic lengthening industry and I think he's one of the very few doctors which had a death case, so it's quite normal for people to feel skeptical about him.

Really good idea. I'd add Guichet and Betz/Becker to this list. Guichet has plenty of history, including Unicorn's case, and I just don't believe Betz adheres to sound safety principles by allowing for 10cm+ lengthening and performing CLL without ITB release. His procedures are contrarian to pretty much everything other doctors do and prescribe.

Still shamelessly advertising dr gliokas. Dude, if you give that doctor an extra 10 thousand euros, he'll give you a bj.
I'm starting to feel sorry for you. I think you have mental problems. still continuing to advertise and showing a youtube video as proof of what a butcher doctor said...

You are slandering me.

Thanks for being honest. I hope you get better and back to normal soon.
This was the well-wisher post I wrote in your diary, but you accused me of being a troll just for writing about gliokas. You're obviously not a smart person. The date I became a member is 2022. This troll registered today... Just because I said I don't like the gliokas butcher, you accuse me of being a troll. If you were a smart person anyway, you would not have surgery to someone like Dr Yuksel Yurttas. Once you were defending him, now you are defending gliokas. I also think that you are advertising that you are included in the gliokas team and that you are trying to glorify the doctor. Just think before you slander people. but it takes intelligence. People who don't like Gliokas are all the same person lol.

Sorry for this post you don't deserve this. I didn't know that every doctor you went to had a staff member. You were one of his team praising Dr Yuksel. You are now on the gliokas team. But don't bother. Nobody goes to the doctor with dead patients. Also, according to you, Dr. Yuksel Yurttas was once a very good doctor. Until it cripples you. Congratulations on living with this intelligence until now. You are someone who will do anything to defend your doctor. It's like slandering people. You told the people who were disabled by Dr. Yuksel that it was their fault and you didn't want your doctor to be insulted. Now you're doing the same thing to dr gliokas... You are not reliable, anything you say will no longer be believed. Also, despite your disability, you continued to praise Dr Yuksel and concealed it. Because you were going to be treated, but you couldn't agree on the price and went to gliokas. Now gliokas will use it to advertise to you in this forum. Because you went to the butcher's doctor, which is never preferred and loved in Turkey, and you became crippled. Now you will be the patient healed by miracle doctor gliokas lol. It will make good advertisements to people. "Look, this is what happens if you go to Turkey (although you went to the most butcher doctor.) I correct and heal those who have complications in Turkey." keep praising gliokas on the forum. But this will not change the facts of the dead and the crippled.
I just wrote this in your diary. I'm including it here so people can see who and what you are. When pointing and accusing someone, your index finger points to him and the other three fingers point to you... Think carefully before blaming someone. Learn from what you've been through.

Who are the best cll surgeons in Europe in your opinion?
Or is Dr Donghon Lee my best bet if I want to do it for around 60-80k dollars or should I just save more to do it at Paley?

It isnt exactly easy to do research on these different doctors. What would you recommend?

lets have a fun activity for the insane asylum today

everyone rank every doctor you feel like you know anything about, you can explain or not explain your rankings

S tier: paley, assayag, rozbruch

A tier: mahboubian, giotikas, Becker

B Tier: Debiparshad, Guichet

C tier: Parihar

F. Halil Buldu, Sedat, Sarin

This is just my general idea, dont take this too serious as im not super well informed on most doctors

Ranking physicians without a novel publication history or medical background? Makes sense.

Yo, I have seen many videos and I am a master of CLL in Asian countries. I have seen many patients become crippled and suffer crying. You can even search for groups on other platforms related to this. They show people their patients who are successful, if only they could show patients who were failing and suffering, screaming and crying. Also, dr Mustafa Uysal is not a good doctor. He learned that there is money in the cll industry, so he is a butcher and money lover like dr Halil Buldu.

Being here 4 months, I have seen around 12 patients leave during this time, not a single one of them left crying or suffering. If anything, I would say I have had the worst experience here yet even I wouldn't blame Dr Mustafa for the most part. Most other patients that have already left, were walking and happy. I think maybe 1-2 had small complications. And you can't be much of a master in CLL for Asian countries otherwise you'd have realised that 80% of AFA patients are Asian.

I don't care if 12 good patients are well or not. They also never put the bad ones in the same place as you. I know that 80% of customers come from Asian countries and all those who have complications are from Asian countries. I already wrote this before you. They mostly come from Asian countries and they get ripped off. Each person has a different price depending on the country they come to, lol. Also, the fact that 80% comes from Asian countries, naturally, the complication made it possible for Asians to live. It matches what I'm saying. Many were crippled and in excruciating pain.

There was an idiot dr yuksel yurttas patient @shortisnotfun and defended him . We told him he was crippling people and not to go to that doctor. Now he hates that doctor. You are the same. You were going to have surgery in Dr. Yuksel yurttas before, now AFA lol. Keep on the defensive. Same   on both. Disabled people have many telegram groups. You can see the videos of the victims of AFA - LIVELIFETALLER - WANNABETALLER AND DR YUKSEL YURTTAS. Really +18 videos. So seeing people suffering made me think twice about having surgery. There are many people on this forum who have seen those videos.

1) They don't put the bad ones with us? There is only 1 hotel we all stay at. We are always aware of new patients, we meet them before the surgery. There has never been a patient who all of a sudden has been moved to somewhere else or gone missing. I have seen everyone arrive and leave. We literally have a board with everyone's name and progress written, we all know each other. There's no such thing as the bad ones being taken away somewhere else. If that was the case, i'd be the first one taken.

2) Nobody is getting ripped off, we are not stupid, we can openly talk about how much everyone has paid and there is no difference, the price is fixed for everybody. The only people ripping us off is the hotel so some people choose to live in Airbnbs instead.

3) I've been here 4 months and nobody has been crippled. Everyone has gone home to their country being able to walk, I am the closest to being crippled because I had to do an achilles release yet even I am still positive and recovery well.

4) I was defending Dr Yurttas before I had ever met him, once I did meet him, I made it very clear, in a lot of detail that he is a garbage doctor. Whereas, I am here with AFA and even 4 months later after ballerina and needing a follow up surgery, I can still say they are good.

5) I have yet to see any such video of patients being unhappy or crippled by AFA. You have never done this surgery, you have never met with an LL company, you'll probably never even have the balls or the money to do this. Until you actually have some first hand experience, keep your mouth shut, you are the least qualified to be giving any opinion about a tier-list, all you do is sit in bed and read this forum for several hours a day.

Parihar now doesnt offers precise nails bro
...

As of a month ago, he says that there is an ongoing merger involving the company that makes Precise, and this causes a 6 month delay between them ordering Precise nails and them arriving in India. But it is available. He says once the merger finishes, this should be much shorter.
