In 1999 he started his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He became an Orthopedic surgeon in 2005. He worked at Florence Nightingale Europe Hospital, Manisa Military Hospital, Erzurum Buhara Medical Center and Başkent University İstanbul Hospital as a consultant surgeon. He became Chief Assistant in Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Research and Training Hospital after a successful exam. As a result of his academic studies, he received the title of associate professor in 2015 and professor in 2020. He is currently working as a faculty member in University of Health Sciences, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Dr. Mustafa Gökhan Bilgili’s academic interests are trauma, deformity and limb lengthening surgery. His profession focuses on management of traumatized patient, pelvic-acetabulum fractures, deformity surgery,limb lengthening, Ilizarov method, malunion, nonunion and osteomyelitis. He served as an executive board member of Turkish Orthopedic and Traumatology Association, Orthopedic Trauma Branch between 2018-2020.
Dr. Bilgili’s daily orthopedic clinical practice mainly consists of complication treatment since his residency. His main treatment aim is to increase the quality of life of disabled patients and provide their pre-injury activity levels with clinical and surgical methods. He is especially interested in preventive medicine in orthopedic practice.
