Betzbone Wobbly Leg Question
« on: January 13, 2023, 04:08:49 AM »

Hey guys.  So Im just 2 days after surgery and Im already walking pretty well with crutches.  Im pretty fast actually.

However, one of my legs has some rotation to it while the other is super stable.  Its a weird sensation with one of your legs just twisting/gliding.  I just want to ask if this goes away as you lengthen.  And Im especially curious if this goes away when youre done clicking and enter consolidation.  I dont quite understand how your leg locks into place to heal after lengthening is over.

Obviously ive asked Becker these questions but Im also curious of other experience.

I’ve had that sensation too since day 1. Weirdest feeling ever.
It’s gonna stay with you all throughout the lengthening because essentially you did add 1 degree of freedom to your legs. But I remember I got used to it and barely noticed it after the first month.

Now i am 1 month into consolidation and im slowly feeling as if that Rotation is becoming less and less pronounced as  the bone keeps hardening.

(Mind you I have a slightly slower consolidation than average). A friend of mine who did Gnail too and who had a fast consolidation tried to click 1 week after finishing lengthening and couldn’t do it.

Its really weird thats for sure.  As long as it goes away in consolidation thats all I care about.

Yeah you’ll stop noticing it in a few weeks. No worries
