Informations about LL
« on: January 11, 2023, 07:13:26 PM »

Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I'm a male of 170.5cm from Italy, I've recently found of LL and I'd like to do a surgery of 8cm on femur. Unfortunatly i don't have much money right now but in 2 o 3 years I hope to get something. I want to know some informations:

1) is LL safe? There is the risk of lose cm on the initial height?
2) After 1 years I can do sports like football, tennis ecc?
3) Turkey is safe for do LL surgery? I see that their prices are pretty much low
4) Is there any possibility to have agevolations with ssn or assicurations?

For now it's all but probably I will have other questions then, thanks to all in advance for your answers!  :D

1. Sure, but there are tradeoffs like losing physical potential and the overall process is very intense both phsyically, mentally, and financially. There's also the risk of death and permanent disabilities like any surgery, but the chances are extremely low with a qualified Doctor.
2. Most people seems to be comfortable with sports after LL, but again you will never be the same and probably won't be able to play to your full potential.
3. I personally wouldn't do it in Turkey because of the negative press and overall quality of the hospitals there, but there are people that are satisfied with the results ( they are also very good at marketing so you get spammed with their content on forums/youtube ). To be honest I don't think Turkish prices are that cheaper compared to other places, I think LON at LLT is like 35k now but if you want to do femurs I think it's better to do precice.
4. Not sure what you mean.

So turkey it's not that safe for this surgery? Which other country could be an option with a good price? Is there a method that allows to recover fast than the others? If in 3 years I'll have a good job can i legally take 3 o 4 free months in order to do this surgery? Also why precice is better then lon for the femurs?

Forget about turkey, too many bad cases on the forum. Try Greece with giotikas, he is cheaper than most western doctors.

Precise is safer, because it is an internal method (not external) and does not expose the bone to bacteria, like Lon does. Naturally there is a very low risk of infections. It is also less painful.

Do you know how much cost the surgery with giotikas? Also with the internal method (precice) I will walk sooner?

Cost for Giotikas is 40k euros for precice nails and 48k for g-nail (femurs)
