I was wondering about the process of getting cleared by a doctor to get leg lengthening surgery is like? It would be awkward to go to my primary physician, are there other doctor I can go to who can clear me quickly. Also my plan is to do it abroad, I don't know if medical clearence is required to get surgery abroad but I can't find anywhere that says I don't need it.

I don‘t know why you should do it at your GP. Most places do it themselves pre OP.
My only small advice would be to go to the dentist before. You don‘t have to tell them that you plan that surgery obviously but just get that checked so you don‘t end up having to deal with any teeth issues during the process.

Not sure what you mean.  Betz Institute said nothing about any sort of primary care clearance and I dont plan on providing them with anything.

Oh yeah, of course.  Just nothing from my primary care doctor in the US.  They have no part in this, to answer OP’s concern.
