hows ur recovery bro.?

I was so lucky to have no complications when I did internal femurs and am working on my walking gait now, done lengthening, getting stronger everyday

I am having doubts about whether to do tibias someday so I am trying to find out more about precise tibias and its timeline / limitations

I feel like 4.5 cm precise tibias might be a good goal, gets most of the benefit of 5cm without the risk of coming too close to Dr. Paley's recommended limit of 5cm. I don't think I would ever want to go over 5cm tibias, why risk it when I was lucky enough to get through femurs with no complications. I've met patients with various complications (loose screws, V legs, O legs, duckass, etc) --my journey was painful but I had no complications so I'm grateful

On the other hand, it may be better to not do tibias at all

I'm trying to figure out how much swimming pool usage helps for tibias and how early it can be done. When I use the swimming pool now post femur lengthening, it seemed like it is easy to stretch the upper legs in the pool. It is possible to stretch the lower legs in the swimming pool too but I feel it may not be as good as just using a strap on land.

There is an argument that using a swimming pool early could help to preserve one's muscles but for precise tibias I am not sure how much that helps versus just doing land stuff only for 4 months then using the pool for two months. As opposed to using the pool the entire 6 months. Any veteran out there have thoughts?
