India has better legal protection for patients. You can sue for medical negligence in India especially if you are India then you have better protection. It also depends on the doctor. Maybe some docs in turkey can be better than sarin and other delhi clowns but Parihar is obviously better than all of them because he treats lot of complicated infection and fracture cases.

Not about doctor but about medical systems

Like hygiene standard, hospital quality , blood transfusions quality, modern equipments, following protocol like explaning all risk thoroughly and giving medicines prescription clearly with sufficient documentation, like that.

I wouldn't want to go to India for tourism let alone a surgery like LL. Turkey is at least somewhat Western.

There are diaries where the Turkish doc used old infected nails so no I don't think turkey is better. Also, they don't explain risks thoroughly (I took an online appointment from them so I know). The doctor was smoking and drinking during the online consultation.

Both places are pure cr@p for LL.
If someone doesn't have even 20-25k euros that are needed for external tibias to a first world country like Greece or Italy then he should not do LL. Otherwise he is probably gonna regret it for all of hs life.

I feel like Im taking a massive risk going to Germany of all places...the best in the world.  India?  Are you fking kidding me?  These are your legs, you only get 2.  There are no re-do's.  No do not going to a third world county and have their inexperienced doctors and sh!ty healthcare system break your legs.  I cant believe this even needs to be said.  There are people in this very forum saying they got butchered in India.

My Turkish brother works in London as a MD he visited me after the surgery and said the hospital was so luxurious and modern comparing to other hospitals in London. I had LON on femurs at Beykent University Hospital. Everything was perfect, food, room, hospital staff. I don't know
anything about India but healthcare system here in Turkey is so good IMO. I wouldn't choose anywhere else for cosmetic surgeries.

Here are some photos I took after the surgery

I read your exp.

you went to vietnam for surgery from highly developed country (usa right?) Were you not afraid of blood transfusions risks in third world country? After surgery imagine they will tell you you lost lots of blood so they will transfuse blood. You are alone in foreign country with no family member or friend to donate blood for you. Do you trust vietnam's blood banks?

or did you self donate blood before surgery?

Yeap he is totally a promoter of Wannabetaller😩 Compare India of course Turkey has better healthcare services. But you have to choose the right doctor and team. Every LL surgeon works for a team in Turkey. So 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am sorry that I could not hack the state health system and get patients' X-rays and reports, instead I shared my experience, my mistake. Chill people what´s this racism, anger and hatred. My MD brother says the hospital where I got the surgery done is more modern and luxurious compared to other hospital in London. He worked at University College London, Cambridge University Hospital and a few others.

They are printing cash by fooling innocent japanese patients whereas london hospitals are publically funded where people get treated for free of course it'll be more luxurious. All that luxury couldn't prevent any ll related complications though. Only a good doctor can prevent and cure them. People decide based on doctor and his exp not based on luxury. If you are from the US or EU then better to do it in US or EU.

Guang Ji Hospital was kind of a dump.  There was mold on the walls.  The rooms on the end of one of the buildings frequently had raw sewage coming back up out of the drains.  Peasants with questionable hygeine took care of us.

I know I didn't get the best level of care or the best doctors, but there were still no horror story cases coming out of there.

I will go to Becker in Germany soon. If you go to a cheap country you are an idiot.
You can easily destroy your whole life, destroyed legs, HIV, broken liver, chronic pain.
What if the doctor misaligns your legs and you develop arthtritis over a span of 5-10 years?
I seen a woman with arthritis in her late 30s. She can barely move her hands. Cant write properly
Anymore as she cant hold a pen. So yea, think twice please.
What if you constantly have pain from sitting or jogging. What if you cant run anymore.
People think this is a small surgery, lol. Guess why this whole surgery is so controversial
and doctors advice against it and instead tell you to go to a psychiatrist to learn to "accept" yourself...
It is risky, it is crazy but we do it because we are psychologically in a dark spot where we see this as our last option before we suicide. People cannot understand Height dysphoria unless they experience it by themselves.

if u wanna avoid arthritis you should go to paley or some doc like that who specialize in deformity surgery...

I did a lot of research on blood transfusion risk and find that risk of hiv is quite less even in India. Its 1 in 10k or even much less. because 0.2% of population has hiv and even if you get completely untested blood only 2 in 1000 people will get hiv. But they do some testing (not NAT but still some testing) so chances of hiv is very very less.

but hepatitis is more likely through blood transfusions. Thats why its best to self donate blood pre operation or take trusted family member with u to donate blood.

Germany is good choice (dont know about surgeron but country is good for health care). It will atleast be hygienic.

You can still go to Turkey but go to a surgeon like Dr Metin Kucukkaya surgeons in the US wven look up to him.

Its not about the country its about the surgeon and team all countries will have less experienced surgeons etc it’s about doing your research to find the best and expert ones
