How does it feel to be short?
« on: December 05, 2022, 07:56:11 PM »

Hey all! I am sure I am not the only one here, who is everyday thinking of his height and the height of the people next to me. As my Username says, I always was disadvantaged not only in the girls-game but in my whole life. The thoughts always plagued me…
“What are they thinking about my height?”; “How would it feel, if I was as tall as him?”;”Did she reject me just because of my height?” …

Let’s answer some questions and share our experiences:
1. Do you also have this thoughts about your height every day, same as me?
2. How tall should a man at least be to be recognized as a serious man at work? For example at business meetings.
3. Have you ever been dismissed at work because of your height?
4. From which minimum height does a man appear interesting to women.
5. Women of which ethnicities are most likely to expect tall height and which are less likely to care
6. Did you often get rejected by women because of your height?
7. Did it ever happen you still got a women although she rejected you before because of your height?

Its funny when you think about it.  5 foot 7 is 97% of 5 foot 9, and yet it makes all the difference.  People are extraordinarily picky and smell out any weakness in people.  Unless you are average height or maybe 1 inch below there is a bias.  Yes its something ive thought about every day and yes its effected me with women.  It could have effected my career but luckily I decided to be an entrepreneur because I saw that from a mile away and became successful regardless.

I think I will start:

1. Obviously yes ;D
2. I think at least 165 cm. My experience was, that if you are shorter than the average women, then you won't be taken so seriously.
3. Yes, I have been.
4. My experience: At least you must be as tall as the women. But in average I would say from 178cm you have good chances at average-height women.
5. Europeans and Americans expect most height. Then Latin American women. Then African women. Then Asian. And middle east women are least interested in the height of their men.
6. Yes, when I was rejected by women (at this sadly happened more often than I wish), it almost every time was because of my height.
7. No, I have never managed to convince a woman who rejected me before.

Wow! That is actually a very astonishing thought! I never thought of this.
Especially in the range of 160 to 180 every little centimetre makes such a big difference.

Funny you ask but I did date a woman who had broken up with me before

she hadn't broken up because of height

but the extra good looks probably helped convince her to date again

I am 173cm and in my 20s

1. Not really but happens when you see a 185 guy
2. Probably 170 cm anything below that I feel you are kind of pushing it
3. No but I do notice guys shorter than me ( in their mid 160s ) get sh*t talked from the back whenever they make a mistake or do something irrational ( noticed this both in uni and work )
4. 180 is probably the ideal cutoff ( I live in an area where the average height is like 176cm)
5. Every ethnicity puts height as a priority trait. I always read posts from short guys that somehow Asians don't really care about height but that's further from the truth.
6. Probably but they never confronted me about it.
7. Never attempted to go after a girl that rejected me after a date so I can't say.
