Healing the Achilles’ tendon from extended use of lifts.

It appears that using lifts and shoes with a higher heel for extended periods of time will shorten and stiffen the Achilles’ tendon, and subsequently have an effect on overall balance and posture.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience from LL on some exercises to reverse this effect (if it is even reversible). I was thinking of training with a balance board.

Also any information on whether this has an effect on how much one is able to lengthen tibias, as I imagine a shortened ACL would limit the lengthening potential, is welcome.

For anyone wondering the same I think I found some exercises with a balance board that could strengthen the ankles:



I wonder if this is used to strengthen ankles after Tibia LL as well? Perhaps sitting down using one foot to avoid falling.

A standing pike stretch during lengthening is all I needed to lengthen 7.5 cm on tibias.

Did you do only one exercise during all your tibias surgery? If so, why? Is it enough?
