Hi Everyone.
I've lurked around on this forum for quite a bit, and I'm aware what I'm going to say goes strongly against the grain of what accepted knowledge is here.
With that said, I'll make this quick.
Me: 19M, 5'7", 145lbs, wingspan 6', can afford to burn $700k, current LBR: 0.52
I want to opt for Paley's Option 5:
4cm Femur + 4cm Tibia -> 1 Year Timeskip -> Re-break, 4cm Femur + 4cm Tibia
Totalling 16cm (6.3inch).
Dr. Paley states that separating both these procedures by a year would allow soft tissues, with the proper PT and Nutrition, to heal well, allowing the next surgery to be well-tolerated (well, at least when compared with someone who'd do all of it at once).
I'm aware Apotheosis did 20cm, and I have no intentions of going that far.
I believe my proportions should be okayish. I've uploaded a picture of an artificial mockup.
How realistic is this goal? Will my young age improve my outcome? One of my hobbies is mountaineering and I want to be able to do that after LL. Will that be possible?
Thank you!
