Questions for people who got asked about their LL scars
« on: November 01, 2022, 02:55:48 AM »

1. If a girl asked you how you got those scars, what would you say?

2. How did she respond/what did she say back?

My scars are almost gone. You don't have to worry about scards for internal femurs. You can start applying retinol on them.

Any chance at all you would be willing to post your scars (especially hips)? Maybe through imgur since people seem to have an issue posting on this site.

I’d put a knife in her mouth and tell her I had a beautiful wife who said I needed to be taller…

No but seriously it’s hard to say. I think if she’s the love of my life I’d be honest…probably. If it’s my future wife I don’t think I could handle lying about that.

If it’s just some random chick I was hooking up with or a friend etc. I’d say I had corrective surgery for bowed legs.

Also if your surgeon is skilled the scars are very minimal and almost unnoticeable after a while. And if they are bad you can get that treated.

Scars won't even be visible...I had my rods out and you can't tell anything is there.  Even if someone asks...a bike accident, or climbing a tree as a kid, etc.  Nobody is going to ask anyway.

This is what I plan to do as well. I can't imagine lying about a surgery like this, its kinda pathetic to lie about it tbh.

Yes, you should. Of course I had people judging when i told them, specifically because i walk pretty bad yet but who cares. Your true friends will be supportive. The rest f”ck them

My scars are not that noticeable. Laser at the dermatologist helped.  Dr Paley and Robbins did a good job with the surgeries

I am getting internal femurs.

And doing laser for the scars too.

So , will hardly be noticeable.

Of course i will lie. It's not a big lie to do by the way. It's not who i am, it's a taboo surgery people won't get unless they're in our situation.

just say you broke your legs, it's not an interesting convo to go down. at most they question it and thats pretty much it.

When it gets more serious you can say you had leg discrepency on one leg and it was causing hip pains. and the other. leg had a slight axel deviation so you decided to fix them both the same time. That's basically the story I tell all my close friends. Only my family knows about the real story of LL. I'll prob just keep it that way. Leg discrepency is enough to get people to stay outta your business.

If she doesn't understand the pain and suffering that made you do LL and doesn't admire you going trough hell to become taller, she ain't worth it. Some of these questions are really unnecessary lmao...

Letting your secret out is not worth the hassle. I just say it's a sports accident (can pick whatever sport sounds dangerous)
