I have some questions regarding CLL:
1. What is the safest length if you are doing bilateraL surgery(1 year gap in between)? Cyborg4life explains
that it depends from person to person according to their flexibility, how much pain they can endure, etc.
But if one is eligible to go for the full length, the suggestion is 8 cm for femurs and 5 cm for tibia.
What do you think?
2. What are the stretching exercises that will make one more flexible and help to get
the maximum amount lengthened?
3. How much difference between the wingspan and body will look normal?
4. Does sitting height matter? Wouldn't it look strange if someone with a torso of a 88-90 cm is 178 cm tall? Or that
sitting height varies a lot from person to person even if they are the same height?
5. Who are the best surgeons currently in this field? I have done some research and found that Dr. paley and mahboubian
are great. Are there any others as well that you know of?
1. It really depends. The less you lengthen the faster you recover and the better your athleticism will be post op. Keep in mind by doing this you will probably never be a professional sportsman again so it is a price to pay to get taller so for me I rather get good length with disciplined training and dedication now that I done the surgery. 8 and 5 are good standard lengths you can aim for.
2. stretching is most important once the muscle tightness hits you. for femurs its hip flexor quads hamstrings adductors and tfl+itband. quads hip flexor and tfl+itband is most important.
3. tbh nobody sees that irl haha. my aunt has -7cm wingspan and nobody ever noticed, not even me. she just out of nowhere mentioned it once. wingspan is shoulder length too so it's pretty irrelevant. arm length can be potentially a thing if you have short arms and then lengthen like very much. up to 10cm I would say its whatever and even then, it's mostly only noticeable to you or to us forum freaks
. would never recommend arm lengthening ever (unless deformity or dwarfism). i would rather think about femur/tibia proportion than arm proportion if anything.
4. sitting height imo is even more irrelevant as that can vary much more from person to person (femur/tibia usually not so much). i was 5'10 before and had sitting height like two 6'5 friends (no joke), while one 6'3 guy had 5cm more sitting height. it's whatever.
5. not going to recommend doctors, just research
