for me, this is the worst complication associated with LL surgery.

LOL i was thinking about this for every surgeries.  i've read a woman got legs amputated because of anesthesia complication while she's in rhino surgery.
we people just imagine the worst case scenario and got anxious about it.

That rhino case is medical negligence and is failure to recognise the signs of sepsis. Places like Turkey and other countries where the doctors are more concerned about money than their patients should be avoided. Poor lady.

I think Dr. B**** would say the same when one of his patients must be amputated after a botched LL surgery!

I agreed, the risk does existe, but it’s extremely rare like you have a plane accident, so why bring it on, to scare people, to discourage, this is so discouraging and scaring so just delete it.

You remind me of my friend that refuse to drive in the highway because he's afraid to get hit by a truck and die. It's possible sure but the odds are so small that it's negligible.

For the surgery if you go to a competent surgeon it should almost be a non-factor ( I think the chance of you dying from the surgery is higher but that outcome is also extremely low ).

Christ, I felt bad for her! A compensation of ~200k AUD is nowhere compared to the trauma of loosing both legs for the rest of her life!
