I don‘t know but to me it seemed more random who got inflammation and who didn‘t. It‘s up to each individual‘s body. It‘s just chances. One of my friends at the clinic had the biggest swelling ever with a tough start but now at 7.5cm he walks like normal without crutches and is still lengthening (he trains 7h a day like a beast).
I had no swelling whatsoever and there is no particular reason for it. I had a very good start but now muscle tightness is getting tough on me. i need to train even more.

I was  180 lbs , bulk build , both legs were swollen  2 days after surgery , it went away in 2 days .

There was a guy did tibias on the same day as me , skiny guy , 130 lbs , his swelling came and go for a month .
eat a high protein diet , you will need  it later  on .

Not a very intelligent thing to do during lengthening as you need energy to create the new bone and allow tissue adaptations.

What list do you want me to write? I don‘t know what exact stretches he does but probably the ones that the PT gave him. Being on the stationary bike is self explanatory. Stretching the 5 areas for femurs (quadriceps, hamstrings, adductor, lateral, hip flexor) in various positions. Plus he also told me he passively stretches when laying in bed (crossing legs, letting one drop down to the floor for the hip flexors, etc)
You can imagine this like a gym workout. You go to the gym and do 3 repetition per leg, you hold the stretch for 2 min and you push until it hurts, the more you push the more effective it is. It‘s just hard stretching all day long. The more you do it the better your outcome is. We are told to get 4h of stretching everyday. Which is very tough to reach haha. But it‘s your duty, you need to do it. He is a beast and does it all day and you immediately see that it does a lot (he walks very very well)
