Controversies about Hgh
« on: July 21, 2022, 08:39:56 AM »

I heard some controversies over it.
If you are deficient of hgh then for sure you can inject it because you have diseases.
But if you are not, then there are some controversies over it. Someone said as long as you are short, or you consider yourself short and you have the enough money, you can inject hgh as you want. Someone said only you are under -2SD of the average height, you can inject otherwise just forget about it.(It seems because of the long-term potiental side effects, like Diabetes II) Someone said if you are not deficient you can't, because it won't work.
I ask this question on this forum to avoid the infiltrations of business.

Sure, because a forum full of nutjobs who obsess about height but only very few actually do the procedure with no scientific background is the best place to ask about scientific topics

Not sure about hgh, but I think as long as one is healthy in every way, being super short is ok. Healthy body brings happiness.

What you've said is generally correct. HGH would not be given in people without deficiency because it can cause a condition called acromegaly. One of the potential problems in acromegaly is indeed diabetes. Other problems include cardiomegaly (enlarged heart, greater risk of heart attacks and heart failure), high blood pressure, and bone disease. Frankly unless you're deficient, don't do it, it isn't a smart idea to risk life-long disability for a little height.

Acromegaly is a abnormal growth, which could happen everywhere in the body, correct?
